Me and my sister grew up every summer in our granparents ranch, surrounded by nature, riding horses and rescuing stray dogs and cats.
We both have a passion for caring about the environment and have always aimed to live in harmony with all living beings; we understand that the lifestyle must people follow as a society, and our forms of production and consumption, have led our Mother Earth to a climate crisis and to social and economic injustice.
Thats why we want to turn this place into a space meant for environmental education, permaculture and healing, which goes in hand with physical, mental and spiritual sustainablibity.

We have both studied about agroecological practices and have traveled around America in search of adventure and nature-related information. With us you can learn about animals, plants, organic agriculture, vegetarian cooking, etc...

We are constantly changing, but there's certain things that we are always on and extra hands could never be too much:
We would greatly appreciate the help of someone with knowledge of carpentry, but we would be working on bioconstruction, organic farming and general maintenance and landscaping.
Also if you love cooking we are looking for someone that could help us in the kitchen, prepering 2 meals per day.

We can offer you a shared room, it is for 3 volunteers or a tent for you under the roof that we all share. We must respect our partners, and keep our space clean and tidy
But if you want your own space and privicy you can bring your own waterproof tent

Colima is a small state, but wonderful. Theres a volcano just one hour drive away from here, were you can do some intense hikes and camping. The ocean is two hours, were you can find great spots for surfing or just chilling. Theres rivers, mountains, hidden magical towns, amazing mexican food, great local coffee.
Two to three hours away drive is one of the main cities of Mexico: Guadalajara (where my sister and I grew up) way bigger, great night-life, historical center and cultural atractions.
Colima has a small airport with a direct fly from Mexico city, but the cheapest way to get here is flying to Guadalajara and then take a bus to Colima.
Regarding what the news from Colima says, we have been living here for almost 5 years and we have never felt in danger nor have we witnessed any crime. Being a very small state, any act of violence is very striking and that is why it is considered "dangerous."
Our family is from Colima and they have never suffered from crime.
We are also located in a very distant area of the city, where everyone knows each other and nothing ever happens, so you should consider it if you have doubts about security.

We were there during a Tierra course and therefore it was super busy at the Ranch. Prior to this event there needed to be a LOT of grass to be cut, which was a bit repetitive from time to time but seeing what it was… read more
