Our natural luxury extends to comfortable rooms with cozy beds, heating, and private bathrooms. The ambiance features a central courtyard adorned with flowers and aromatic plants for brewing natural teas and infusions. We offer a traditional Mexican breakfast that feels like home. As the owner, Ivan, I take joy in meeting guests, engaging in cultural exchanges, and addressing any inquiries they may have. Together, we can immerse ourselves in our respective traditions and enrich each other's experiences. Guests are not just visitors but fellow travelers, and I am here to support them during this stage of their journey. Being knowledgeable about Mexican chocolate and cocoa, I often provide hot cocoa and samples of high-quality artisanal chocolate bars made from regional genetics. I take pleasure in sharing Chiapas' gastronomy, discussing the economy of essential foods such as cocoa, corn, and coffee, which thrive in this remarkable region.
  
  In the house we are a team of 4 people, the cook woman, the made, the designer and me, the owner. And we have breakfast every morning with the guests, some times we share amazing conversations to enrich each other with culture and interesting experiences.

  What can a Workawayer expect? They can look forward to a complete immersion in the local culture, engaging in daily conversations with our hotel team. They will gain valuable insights into the workings of tourism in this region, catering to guests from around the world. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to practice Spanish on a daily basis while residing in a beautifully remodeled 19th-century colonial house. Our Workawayer will enjoy a private loft room on the second floor, sharing common spaces (such as the lobby and bathroom) solely with our team. They will also have a dedicated office space for work. Although we are a small team operating a cozy bed & breakfast, we take great pride in maintaining clean and well-decorated spaces, ensuring our guests' comfort through a sense of familiarity and warmth.

  Join us as a volunteer at the Bed & Breakfast, a charming colonial-style house located in the heart of San Cristobal. Help us provide exceptional service and support to our guests while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of this beautiful city. Fluent English, computer proficiency, outstanding attitude, and guest-focused problem-solving skills are essential. Dedicate at least 4-5 hours a day, mainly in the afternoon and evening, with some flexibility in the morning. As part of our small team, you'll assist guests and manage reception.   During their free time, volunteers can explore the vibrant town just one block away, indulge in local cafes, rent bikes to explore the city, visit ecotourism parks, enjoy recreational activities at the main attractions, exercise at sports facilities and natural areas, engage in holistic and wellness activities. Costs for these activities are the responsibility of the volunteer. Alternatively, volunteers can use the hotel's internet for personal tasks. If they enjoy their work, they can choose to continue and receive a significant compensation after at least 6 months, allowing them to save or enhance their living. Ideal for part-time digital nomads or volunteers with resources seeking a fulfilling cultural experience.

  We provide ample workspace for digital nomads at the Bed & Breakfast. Our reception area features two spacious desks, a desktop computer, and a comfortable lounge chair. Additionally, you can work in the dining area, which has a large wooden table accommodating up to 12 people. Alternatively, the patio offers a tranquil outdoor setting with a garden table, allowing you to enjoy fresh air while working. We ensure reliable internet connectivity throughout the premises, enabling you to stay productive during your stay.
