Hi, I am Elena, I live in Sicily after that I travelled and worked away from my island for a lot of years. I decided to come back, because I love this place, the land, the sky, the weather. Is a kind of lifestyle that I love, is slow, have a “super” good food, good wine, enjoy the life with simple things, everything around for me is amazing.
My project of lifestyle is to live in the countryside, cultivate a vegetable garden, give hospitality and promote my territory with typical food and wine, local products made by other farmers near us.
This is the Raw Sicily project: my choose of life, my dream, my lifestyle!
In this moment I am sharing my life with Avishai my partner of trip in the adventure.
Hi I'm Avishai and i'm gonna give you only a few words . i met Elena 3 years on this beautiful mountain and fell in love with her and this island. I've been 5 years in sicily after a period I spend in Europe as a juggling street artist. my passion in life is flow arts, playing music and observing nature. Another one my big passion is grow vegetables in my garden and trasform them into food. I like meeting new people who come in the path of your life for a reason and share joy together.
Last year we opened a non-profit cultural association in our farm, we make different events, retreats and hospitality for our members, generally on summer season but we do a lot and need a hand during the rest of the year too.

You can live our life in the country field, get the real experience. Sure there are many skills that you will have the advantage of learning by this experience. We make different project and there are always many abilities that you can learn from basic stuff of daily life to the natural lifestyle in the countryside. How to take care of the nature, of chickens, of the garden, have daily responsibility, take care and grow vegetable garden, live in our camp of cultural association in sustainable values of life. Share our moments with our guest or friends, so have the opportunity to socialize in an international mood, keep the sense of community but also learn the integrality of your personality and be able to be independent, take a break from the caos of the city, learn different way to life, learn how to stay well with yourself, with your free time.

end of FEBRUARY, MARCH and APRIL we want o create a nice team for prepare our garden and vegetable garden for the new season...
need help mostly for general maintenance before of the season and daily works , gardening, help in a planting vegetable garden, feed the animals prepare the place for the summer for our next retreats, events... we are lookin for somebody that want to be part and share this moment with us
We grow sesame, grain and a big vegetable garden, then we also make jars of conserved vegetables. We also started to build structures from different types of wood that we recycle from the area, we love to do it, if you have an idea or some wishes and you want to build something with the philosophy of reuse you are super welcome to share with us your project.
...we know after any experiences to host that we like and love to share time with people that are open with heart, open mind, independent, that likes give a hand with pleasure for live part of each of us essence in the project, that are able to stay but themself but also enjoy the time together, easygoing, flexible, that likes to learn fast new things, share knowledge, that enjoy live a simple life with enthusiasm and pure heart.

MAY, JUNE, JULY, AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER
we are looking for somebody that want enjoy the season there are many things to do, you can have many different skills you can learn many different skills so we are open we will see togheter what is going on :)
OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER we are off season
DECEMBER to FEBRUARY we are looking for somebody or maximum 2 people like a couple for house sitting and feed the animals.
We are looking for somebody that first of all, love and like our pets and nature, here you can live a full intense and lovely experience in a little house with wood eater, completely surrounded of nature, of course if you like to stay with yourself, if you need time for creating, read, watch a movie, hiking, for a long break to the city (the town are 20 min away and aren't connected with transporting, we will arrange it, if you have drive license or not for food or essential things that could be needed)
It could be great if you are looking for a place like this and accommodation for all the winter from December to February so we can know each other better during December, anyway we need to spend a bit of time togheder for explain, the daily stuff, habits of the house and our dogs, cats and chickens... this could be possible before the second week of january because we have this deadline.

The place where we live is very quiet, totally immersed in nature, it’s really peaceful for those who love the quiet places, stay with themselves, with nature and walk; we are really close to Cavagrande del Cassibile, a natural reserve. The house is 20 min away from the town and there aren't transport.
