Descripción
We are Beatrice and Valerio, together with little Aleida (Big sister), Talise (Little sister) and an undefined number of hungry cats.
After several experiences as workawayers in South America and Canary Islands, it's finally our time to host.
We live in the countryside of Ostuni, in an ancient stone construction with barrel vaults and trulli, surrounded by our colorful mediterranean garden with pool and a big plot of land, cultivated mainly with olive, almond and fig trees.
We are currently doing some renovation of the place in order to reach a certain level of self-sufficiency, together with organic agriculture and cultural exchange at the core of our vision.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje
You will experience life as a local in Valle d'Itria, the land of Trulli, with its fascinating countryside. At the same time you will be introduced to the multicultural environment of temporary travelers and outlanders who decided to settle here for a (long) while.
Ayuda
You will be asked to cooperate with the ordinary maintenance of the house, to assist in gardening and cultivating the land and, occasionally, to take care of the sabotaging boredom of our daughters.

You will stay in a private room with a twin bed and your own bathroom, indipendent but very close to the main building where we live. Volunteers have access to a kitchen located in the garden, even though we are happy to share our meals together with you.
Algo más...
There is a lot to enjoy in Valle d'Itria: nature, events, festival, food. The coast is just about 20 minutes driving.
The area is not well served by public transport. If you are fit enough you will be free to use one of our bikes, especially to ride on the "ciclovia", a rural cycle path built over the main canal of Apulian Aqueduct. Yet, a car is highly recommended, especially during winter.Un poco más de información

Their presence has been a manna from heaven in our little messy world.
Catherine and Ricardo shared more than skills and enthusiasm with us.
We got to know a lot of information about camper life, food and music.
