Hello potential volunteers!! We are located in the centre of the beautiful Puerto Vallarta, just two blocks from the Malecon, where there is an abundance of bars and restaurants, along with a variety of beaches that are just a short walk from the Hostel! You can visit the Marietas Islands where you will find ‘’The Hidden Beach’’ (I dare you to google it!!!), Yelapa, Las Animas, Cuale River Island, Los Arcos National Marine Park and many other gorgeous places. You will not run out of activities during your time in Puerto Vallarta, that's for sure.
We are a relatively new hostel, and one of the highest rated in Puerto Vallarta and making great progress! We are looking for fun volunteers with creative ideas and initiative to join our team! We are open to suggestions and feedback from our volunteers, if you think you have a particular skill that would benefit the hostel get in touch and we can have a chat!
Currently we have four positions: reception (checking guests in and out & making sure everything is well organized); leading excursions (taking the guests to the best spots in Puerto Vallarta and making sure they are having the best time, also manage our instagram account); party promoter/marketing to our rooftop bar with sea view (inviting the guests to go upstairs, creating fun game nights or events, managing the rooftop bar instagram account); and the fourth changes based on our need. It could be painting murals, help with maintenance, website developer, photographer...
We ask for a minimum of one month but we have a 15 days trial period so we can see if you fit well with the team and also for you to see if you like the position. We think it´s pretty fair for both parties.

The benefit of being part of the hostel´s team is that you are able to see how other people live in the world and the taste of mexican food, learnig spanish by practicing with the locals everday and all the mexican traditions, are exposed to new experiences enabling you to grow as a person and change your perspectives on life. Not only do you get to learn a new language, try amazing foods, visit new places but meet some pretty amazing people, it may be that you meet your best friend, a group of friends that will last for eternity or even a partner for life!
Ayuda
We require that you are fluent in English and Spanish, at least conversational spanish. We only ask for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week so that you have plenty of free time to explore Puerto Vallarta.
The help we need is checking guests in and out when they arrive/depart but mainly making sure all guests are happy and having a good time. We need someone friendly and enthusiastic that will interact with guests and basically make sure everyone is having a damn good time! Also we expect you to make sure that everything is clean, organized and the place looks nice at all times. We have a cleaning lady so you won't have to do heavy cleaning, but we expect you to be alert for mild cleaning that might need to be done to keep everything clean. Minimum requirement for this position is one month. (If you wish to stay longer we can discuss this uppon your arrival)

We have several fans in every dorm including ones mounted to the wall for the top bunks. And the hostel is also practically mosquito free for anyone that suffers from the little blood suckers so you can sleep with the windows open without any problems. A small chill out room where you can watch Netflix till your heart is content when you are hungover. (Let’s face it, we've all been there!) And a shared kitchen and rooftop area where we socialize and have meals and drinks together.
We offer a bed in a 6 person dorm only for staff, along with a basic breakfast from 9am till late, potable water and Wifi. If you think you would fit in at our hostel then please get in touch!!

It was my first workaway experience and I think I was really lucky, cause Erick is the most easygoing boss and the help is really easy to do. I wish I had stayed there more time cause I met such nice people and had a great time. Puerto Vallarta is a awesome beach to party and practice english. Erick, the owner of the hostel, knows how to make a really good hostel! He will teach you everything and show all the details about hostel, although the work is quite easy. The location is perfect and several times a week we went to bars and clubs with the guests of the hostel. I stayed more than a month and enjoyed it!
