  We are a private house open to rural tourism, we are emplaced in an indigenous community wich owns its territory from a return that the Spanish crown makes in 1716: that document, unique in Argentina, allows us to keep managing uninterruptedly as ancestrally did: within a chief (cacique) and council of elders; since here, the national and provincial state has no interference. The house has the typical construction of the area, built by the same family with adobe walls and cane ceilings which makes the indoor thermal. Since appeared unused space in the house, the family joined a community politicy, which is the rural community tourism. We receive national and international tourism. We belong to a family of smallholder farmers, we practice very strongly food sovereignty, and we work as native guides with local excursions, among which stands out one that we call "the other story", where we shared ancestral wisdom acquired through oral transmission, in addition to scientific information documented from current archaeological studies.
  
  
  Somos una casa particular abierta al turismo rural comunitario, estamos emplazados en una comunidad indígena que es dueña de su territorio a partir de una devolución que hace la corona española en 1716, documento histórico, único en Argentina, que nos permite, desde ese entonces y en forma ininterrumpida, seguir administrando el territorio como ancestralmente se hizo: a través de un cacique y concejo de ancianos; siendo que el estado nacional y provincial tucumano no tienen injerencia.
  La casa tiene la construcción típica de la zona, realizada por la misma familia, con paredes de adobe y techos de caña que la hace térmica. A partir de generarse la liberación de espacios que no eran utilizados, nuestra familia se unió a una propuesta política de la comunidad, que es el turismo rural comunitario. Recibimos turistas nacionales e internacionales.
  Somos una familia de pequeños agricultores, practicamos muy fuertemente la soberanía alimentaria y trabajamos como guías nativos en excursiones locales, entre las que se destaca una que llamamos "la otra historia", donde compartimos los conocimientos ancestrales adquiridos por la transmisión oral de nuestros abuelos, avalados por la información científica documentada a partir de los actuales estudios arqueológicos.

  Travellers can share with us all our activities and experiences with local people and tourists. They can learn how to live and work in community, also about noncapitalism ways of economy (minga, trueque, etc.). They can get to know almost secret places and stories, legends, mythos, ancient knowledge. Alternative ways of construction.

  Arbeit

  Collaboration in the various activities we do: domestic work that requires attention to tourists such as laying beds, housecleaning, washing and clothesline (bed sheets). Watering, planting and maintaining the garden and plants. Attend tourists. Attending the construction and improvement of facilities, with typical elements of the area, to improve them or give them the necessary routine maintenance.
  
  Colaboración en las diversas actividades que realizamos: pueden ser labores domésticas que requiera la atención al turista como ser tendido de camas, limpieza del hogar, preparación del desayuno, lavado y tendido de sábanas. Regar, sembrar y mantener la huerta y plantas. Atender al turista. Asistir la construcción y mejoras de las instalaciones, con elementos típicos de la zona, para mejorarlas o darles el mantenimiento habitual necesario.

  We are welcoming volunteers who want to exchange, and not just travel for free. We ask for FIVE HOURS of work per day. The days off to agree. All the tasks that we ask the volunteers to do in both places, we can do them ourselves (that is why we know how much time they absorb and we establish a minimum amount to do per day, according to the characteristics of each one) and in fact we have already done them before and we even do them today. But that takes energy away from other tasks that the volunteers could not do no matter how much they wanted: such as microcredits for artisans and local producers, different kinds of training, associativism, raising awareness among the population on various topics, project development, activities. health and social action, etc ... to say some of the ones we do. That is why we say that the way you have to collaborate with this community, if that is what you want, is to allow us to free ourselves from activities that you CAN do, so that we can do the others. As for us, we are pro-active and hard-working. We like things to be done right (neatly, without wasting materials or ruining tools). We work hard to supply ourselves (on the one hand) and to selflessly collaborate with the community. We seek to promote local development as a single team, the better it will be the more we cooperate. That is why it is important to share criteria of excellence and continuous improvement. We try to be as clear as possible, so that you do not encounter any unforeseen events. If you have any questions or queries, please do not stop sending them to us. If they understand and share these criteria, we are unprejudiced by the rest: we do not believe that there are "women's" or "men's" tasks, nor that adults or young people have this or that characteristic. We are open to being surprised with the capabilities and abilities of anyone, as long as the above is respected and complied with. We remain at your entire disposal.   Buscamos voluntarios que quieran intercambiar, y no solamente viajar gratis.
  
  Pedimos CINCO HORAS de trabajo por día. Los días libres a consensuar.
  Todas las tareas que pedimos a los voluntarios que hagan en ambos lugares, podemos hacerlas nosotros (por eso sabemos cuánto tiempo absorben y establecemos una cantidad mínima a hacer por día, según las características de cada una) y de hecho ya las hemos hecho con anterioridad e incluso las hacemos actualmente. Pero eso quita energía de otras tareas que los voluntarios no podrían hacer por más que quisiesen: como por ejemplo gestiones de microcréditos para artesanos y productores locales, capacitaciones de distinta índole, asociativismo, concientización a la población en temáticas diversas, elaboración de proyectos, actividades de salud y acción social, etc... por decir algunas de las que realizamos. Por eso decimos que la forma que ustedes tienen de colaborar con esta comunidad, si es lo que quieren, es permitirnos liberarnos de actividades que SÍ pueden ustedes hacer, para que nosotros podamos hacer las otras.
  
  En cuanto a nosotros, somos pro-activos y trabajadores. Nos gusta que las cosas se hagan bien (en forma prolija, sin desperdiciar materiales ni arruinar herramientas). Trabajamos mucho para auto-abastecernos (por un lado) y para colaborar desinteresadamente con la comunidad . Buscamos promover el desarrollo local y si trabajamos como un único equipo, mejor será cuanto más cooperemos. Por eso es importante compartir criterios de excelencia y mejora continua.
  
  Tratamos de ser lo más claros posible, para que no se encuentren con ningún imprevisto. Si tienen alguna duda o consulta, por favor no dejen de hacérnosla llegar. Si comprenden y comparten estos criterios, somos desprejuiciados por el resto: no creemos que haya tareas "de mujeres" o "de hombres", ni que los adultos o los jóvenes tengan tal o cual característica. Estamos abiertos a sorprendernos con capacidades y habilidades de quien sea, mientras lo anterior se respete y cumpla.
