Beschreibung
The place is located in Guaytacama, Latacunga City, 2.5 km from the Panamericana. 30 minutes from Latacunga and Cotopaxi Volcano, one hour to Quito, two hours to Quilotoa. It has an incredible view of the Ilinizas, Cotopaxi, among other volcanoes. There is a bus line between Latacunga and Guaytacama.
The farm is dedicated to organic crops and a draft hydroponics lettuce and strawberries, it is a very familiar and cozy atmosphere, we have all the facilities to make your stay very pleasant.
El lugar se encuentra ubicado en la Parroquia de Guaytacama, cantón Latacunga, 2.5 km de la Panamericana. Además a 30 minutos de Latacunga y del Volcán Cotopaxi, a una hora de Quito, a dos horas del Quilotoa, posee una increíble vista de los Ilinizas, Cotopaxi, entre otros volcanes. Hay una línea de bus de Guayatacama a Latacunga que hace fácil la movilidad entre la ciudad y la parroquia.
La granja se dedica a cultivos orgánicos y un proyecto de cultivos hidropónicos de lechugas y fresas, es un ambiente bastante familiar y muy acogedor poseemos todas las facilidades para hacer de su estadía algo muy placentero.

You will make experience in hydroponics and the management of a young project. You will learn about agroecology how to seed plantas, vegetables and many other things.
Arbeit
The project is dedicated to organic crops, in particular hydroponic lettuce, and now I´m reactivating the farm with vegetable sustaineble farm. As it is still a small scale project it is a very intimate and cozy atmosphere. We have all the facilities to make your stay very pleasant.
The help mainly consists of planting and harvesting hydroponics products and general tasks around the land like irrigation and so forth. Also I work with agroecology and I´m part of a asociaton of agroecology producers. In the house also we need help with cleaning and arranging interiors.

Unterkunft
Your accommodation is a private room with access to a bathroom a big kitchen and the rest of the common areas. The place is spacious and bright, with warm water and good insulation.
The village we live in is very tranquil and an ideal base for trekkings in the surrounding area. As we are located in the Central Highlands, it sometimes can get a bit cold in the nights - but nothing a sweater and a coffee cannot improve.
