We run a camping site in Cherating east coast of peninsular Malaysia. Our Camp site is a labour of love. It is a safe and welcoming place for campers to relax and meet like-minded people.
Are you a citizen of the world? Are you looking for a place to meet a big river that flows in and out to the ocean. Then this is your call! Come on board and share your stories, talents and passions. We are trying to build a welcoming community for travelers to enjoy a home away from home.

Hospitality and creating a good vibes for our guest
We have a a beautiful river and ocean and surfing season, and a tourist destination. We also have 2 cats and 4 dogs that we happily taking care.
If you have a skill, talent, are creative or can perform and want to share you skills we are ALWAYS happy to learn.

First of all, you should know that this is not a job opportunity, instead we welcome you as an active member of our family!
We prefer if you stay for at least 2 weeks. That allows us to really get to know each other and make this experience not only about the help but also about the cultural exchange, making it more meaningful. It is very important for us that you have the chance to immerse yourself in the day to day of our beloved project. If you have only a month for traveling, we would not encourage instead you should have fun traveling and this is from experience of many 'no show', it affects our schedule. We also had once failed to host a volunteer at the early stage in our workaway program when we wasn't organize and accepted too many volunteers resulting in not enough beds available, she was very disappointed and ever since we never fail to accept volunteers we agree to host again.
We are looking for vibrant people than can help us create an awesome and interactive environment. Some of the things we need help with are:
- Reception (Checking guests in/out)
- Help cleaning
- Paintwork / Mural design
- Small renovations
- Designs
- Gardening
And even though we have a list of ideas we'd like to make happen, we are always open to suggestions and we encourage you to have initiative and bring your own flair to our nest!
We don't mind couples, but some of the activities require only one person, so we hope you don't mind to be split up.

We require 5 hours a day/5 days a week of help in exchange for:
- Accommodation in one of our chalets or our camping tent with a shared bathroom/shower.
- Cooking place.
- Two free days for every week of work.
- 3 meal a day

I spent almost 3 weeks in the Guesthouse. The job is easy check in/out, breakfast, housekeeping, laundry, watering the plants and keeping the rooftop clean. This is a guesthouse with a very nice vibe. Very relaxed and welcoming.
The amount of work is well balanced and you got enough time to experience Kuala Lumpur on your offtime.

Great place to learn about hospitality industry! It's not another hostel where you're only responsable of changing beds. Here you can actually get to know everything from cleaning to managing bookings.

Had a great two weeks with Willy and Irina, comfortable rooms in exchange for basic reception and cleaning work. Very nice group of people. Guesthouse has a really nice vibe too. Would/ will definitely come back and stay again if they'll have us! Thanks so much to Irina for looking after us!

I had so much fun here! I just stumbled into the hostel and asked Willi for work, and he took me in like I was family :) There was always something to do and new projects to take on, so you'd never get bored.
