Let me just start off with - WOW. What an amazing sweet family! Dana communicated with me so well leading up to my trip and was even flexible when I asked if I could arrive a few days early! They so generously offered to pick me up from the airport and greeted me with two Hawaiian flower necklaces!!! 🌺

Dana is such an awesome mom! And did you know she founded a school and runs it?! How cool is she!?! Also, it was SO sweet of her to buy me vegan staple foods to eat even though we have different diets!
It was awesome to talk with Joe! So fun to have an Israeli connection! And scuba diving connect! I wish I could have gone in a dive with you! Maybe one day we'll meet at the Red Sea? 😂
Eli is such a cool kid. It was so fun to hang out with him, swim, watch him ride his dirt bike / take awesome drone footage of him, see his cool swords and teach him how to play my drum! Eli - keep being YOU because you're awesome 😎 and in case you didn't already know, you really have the coolest hair!!
Taylor felt like my best friend RIGHT away! I had so much fun teaching her some Hebrew, doing gymnastics, swimming in the rain, going on a shopping spree, flying my drone, taking videos, karaoke with my mic, helping her with homework, making / eating yummy vegan food . . . ! Taylor - you're so amazing!! The coolest 11 year old I ever met!! Miss you girl!!
Also, I was very impressed with their rhythm and memory skills!!! They each learned a song on my Guda Drum! They played while I sang in Hebrew to the music!
I also helped the family with some yard work! The tasks were easy and I really enjoyed working outside in Hawaii's perfect weather!!
I sadly needed to leave earlier than planned due to a family emergency with my grandfather. The family was so understanding. I was so glad to have spent the time I did with them!!
