We have a beautiful 5 bedroom mud brick home on a 6 acre property in Kinglake West . Our family consists of a 2 year old boy, 2 dogs (Kelpie and German Shorthaired Pointer) and 5 chooks.
Ideally we are looking for a couple to lend a hand and pitch in with improving the place. This does not mean we preclude easygoing individuals who are willing to give things a go and get their hands dirty.
We ask our workaways to contribute 25 hours per week, but are flexible in how these hours are achieved. In return we provide food and lodging and are happy to show you places of interest in the local area.
Our home is an hour from Melbourne CBD, 30 minutes from the Yarra valley wine region and 40 minutes from Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary.
We are an easygoing and accomodating family who would trade time playing board games over TV any day.
Send us an email so that we can learn a little about you too!
Betreuung von Tieren
You will be living under the same roof with our family. In our downtime we regularly camp and travel the country, visit wildlife sanctuaries and do hikes in the local area. On the property workaways can expect to learn some basic maintenance skills, be involved with some building projects and improve the overall standard of the property’s gardens and animal enclosures. The work is seasonal and priorities and job roles change regulalrly throughout the year.
Jobs and work are varied and seasonally determined.
