  Hello! I own a small Hotel in Boquete, i already employ a panamanian permanent worker, but we would welcome help, which would be as follows: in low season (june to november) we could use general maintenance help like painting, gardening and cleaning with power washer, if you also have handyman skills that is very welcome too. Then in high season (december to april) we need mainly reception work, from 5pm to 11 pm, receive guests and show them the rooms. As we are a hotel and it is most busy during weekends it does not serve us to give the time off on the weekends, it would be best if the free days would be mondays and tuesdays. It is not hard work, just be present and receive and talk to guests, maybe once in a while change a gas tank, and during the day help out a bit by taking out the trash and a.bit of garden work. Also if volunteers enjoy photography, we would welcome you to take some nice pictures of the place and the social life during the day .Volunteers would have pretty much the whole day for themselves to do tours, go out, etc.
  In Boquete, workawayers can make hikes into the beautiful mountains, the Baru Volcano, they may enjoy the natural hot springs that are nearby, enjoy an active nightlife, make rock-climbing, and other activities such as longboarding, cycling etc. We would provide a basic private room with shared bathroom and shared kitchen, and the wifi you can also use. Volunteers would have to clean their own room and dishes if you cook. Also, it offers an opportunity to improve language skills while interacting with guests from all over.

  Travelers could learn a lot from talking to guests from all over, learn spanish in town, they would learn a lot about our country and establish contacts which is very useful in Boquete and Panama . They can also take classes in one of the local spanish-schools, and also learning to know local families.
