We are searching for a Yoga volunteers for October, November & December...and 2026!
Are you a Certified Yoga Instructor? Do you think you would enjoy spending time deep in the Ecuadorian Andes mountains in a tiny village far away from civilization? Do you enjoy nature & hiking? And do you enjoy chatting with other travelers from all over the world?
Then this volunteer opportunity may be just right for you!
Stay at a lovely eco-friendly mountain lodge deep in the Andes of Ecuador and right on the famous Quilotoa Loop! A great place for nature lovers & hikers! Our lodge is situated in the tiny indigenous village of Isinlivi – we have a tranquil, happy and friendly atmosphere at our place. Our location is perfect to hike the Quilotoa Loop, visit non-touristy local markets, the local cheese factory and enjoy incredible mountain views.
Our guests come from all over the world, we have backpackers and also clients who enjoy a bit more comfort…they all want the same: experience the culture & hike the Andes! We try to create a warm atmosphere for our guests & make them feel at home. We currently have a dormitory, rooms with shared bathroom, and we have also have Garden Cottages and Mountain Rooms with private bathroom. We also have a small SPA area with jacuzi & sauna.
An important part of the place is our commitment to being the best neighbor to the community we work in - 4% of our profits go directly to small projects and donations to people who most need it!
Our volunteers spend much of their time chatting to our guests, keeping them company and sharing travel stories. It's like receiving friends over for dinner every night, so we are looking for volunteers who enjoy that!
Of course, in between your daily tasks you´ll have enough time to hike the beautiful mountains or just relax and enjoy the views!

YOGA TEACHER
We offer our guests 2 free yoga classes per day (1 hour each) – one at 7am and another one at 5pm. One soft smooth yoga session in the afternoon after guests have hiked the mountains, and a more vigorous and energetic yoga session in the morning.
We have a small yoga studio overlooking the mountains, and there is space for 12 mats, so it is just a small class. As our yoga teacher, you are responsible for preparing and organizing the classes, as well as maintaining the yoga studio and equipment organized and clean. We have mats, knee pads, belts, and blocks.
We have a small box for tips for the yoga teacher. You can offer private classes or massages (if certified) at additional cost.

We offer our volunteers a cosy room connected to the dorm, but very private and in a warm part of the farm house. Bathroom is shared with other travelers.

This was my first workaway experience.I got to do loads of stuff such as helping serving with diner, doing check in / check out, helping with excel doing administration, and playing with the best dog ever. Also the people of isinlivi are awesome! I recomend volunteering here!
