Heya! I'm Frida (or just Frei)

In my volonteering journey I want to emerge my self. Disconnect from everything else and just truly be in the spirit of those around me. I want to get to know you, your place, your animals, your traditions and hobbies. Learn your craft and philosophies. Travelling slow and allowing these bonds to form is important to me.

Animals have always been close to my heart. All my life I've lived with cats and I'm that person who just cant resist calling on them if you happen to met one on a walk. I truly belive the energy from animals calm your system.

I enjoy yoga, reading and forest walks for regeneration. I think one of the most precious moments one can have with a person is when you can enjoy silence together. However, I also enjoy playing outside like a child. Theres nothing better than jumping in snow, climbing in trees, building huts and fantasizing about what creatures live in the forests. When you can experince both of those situations together I think you are tuly comfortable with eachother.

I have been studying a variety of crafts for several years and am comfortable in wood working (machines and hand tools) and textile working (sowing, mending), and also metal to some extent (easy welding and smithing). I also love painting and decorating! I'm aspiring to become a prop-maker for film and theatre and has recently gotten into puppetmaking.

In short, a calm, creative and hard working soul who enjoys a good climbing tree:)

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have studied a variety of crafts for several years and are comfortable with:
- woodworking (machines and hand tools), making easy constructions
- textile (sewing, mending)
- metal working (easy welding, smithing)
- art ofcourse! Painting, crafting, anything generally creative

My favorite is working with recycled materials and trash! Using what you got instead of buying new is always more rewarding:)

I love finding and fixing small problems in your every day life, making it just a tad bit easier. What if we moved this thing there, put a sign here, added this thing on that. Also organizing, giving each thing its own place. Why make life harder than it has to be?

I've owned cats my entire life and love taking care of them. I grew up with two rescue cats and learnt that with time and respect even they shyest cat can sleep in your lap. I did horse-backriding for 10 years in my childhood and love helping my relatives who lives on a farm. However can't say im very experienced in farm work in general but I'm a fast learner and will give it my everything. The same goes with work out doors. I have no problem getting dirty and love the feeling of getting work done. As long as you're willing to show me the work I am willing to learn!

I have lived in three diffrent co-livings and thus know how to take care of a shared space. Cleaning, cooking, exisiting together and feeling the energy in the house. One day maybe doing some extra if some ones low, and vice versa.

I have a huge love for the swing dance Lindy Hop! Ive been dancing for several years and do both lead and follow. I would love to teach you!

I also love anything regarding dragons!
