Hello! I'm Alix, I'm Australian and 28 years old. I've been living in the UK for the last 18 months and with my job coming to an end, I'm looking for my next adventure. Before coming to the UK I lived in Cambodia for 6+ years, the last couple years on the beautiful island of Koh Rong. I have always tried and live as low-impact and sustainably as I can, so very interested in the off grid way of life.

My career has mostly been in NGOs, working on food security, nutrition and maternal and child health, but more recently I've been working in fashion and sustainability. I'm a big outdoors person, I love being in nature, and I love to connect with people over good food. Being able to cook for friends and enjoy a long meal is when I'm at my happiest! I love meeting new people and am looking forward to some new and exciting experiences that will get me out of the UK and feed my soul.

I have a background in development work and am knowledgeable in development principles and practice, which would be a great fit for any kind of NGO or community work. I have worked in bars and hostels, I am a great cook, and I have experience with content creation and social media. I'm a creative person and I'm keen to learn new skills and super happy to be outside and get my hands dirty.
