Hello! My name is Wenyi, but you can also call me Wendy. :)
I started my Workaway journey in 2024 and have really enjoyed every experience so far. I love discovering new places, meeting people from different cultures, and learning new skills along the way.
My next plan is to work and travel in Australia starting from December 2025, and also visit New Zealand. I’d love to experience the nature, lifestyle, and culture there. Feel free to reach out if you ever need a hand in Australia or New Zealand! ☺️
I have several housekeeping experiences in Ireland and Iceland, and I’ve also worked on a farm and in various homes, helping with cleaning, gardening, and painting.
I originally started this account with my friend Paggy, so one of the feedbacks (the first one) is for both of us, and another (from a host in Belgium) is specifically for her.

Pre-cook: I worked in a hotel’s kitchen in the US.

It's a lovely and relaxing place to stay, with two fluffy dogs and a cat. You'll definitely be well-fed and have a warm bed to rest in.

I had a great experience here, staying for nearly the entire month of October. I only needed to work around 1-2 hours per day, so there was plenty of free time to explore the area. It was a relaxing and pleasant stay at Richard's summer house. I stayed for about a week and a half after Christmas until January. Nearby is a charming and historic town perfect for taking a stroll, and Richard kindly drove me to explore the surrounding area on a one-day trip, which was absolutely fantastic and beautiful.

Perfect experience here. Marie and Tom are so warm-hearted and kind that I really don’t want to leave. I had a big issue with my skin when I arrived, and Marie helped me heal it. The place is around 30 mins walk distance/ 10 mins by bus from Bern train station.

The greatest experience we had for our first Workaway. The location is really nice and the work isn't heavy; it only takes 2-3 hours a day, it means that we have plenty of time.
