Hi Everybody!
We are a non-profit, part of a worldwide network of national organizations belonging to the hostel Federation (IYHF). This entire network, known as Hostelling International, offers more than 3,000 hostels in over 90 countries.
If you love the outdoors and enjoy fantastic scenery then this is the place for you.
You will not be bored, but make sure to bring your walking boots. -

We're situated right in the heart of the Wicklow mountains so you’ll be surrounded by nature, mountains and wildlife with plenty of trails to explore - bring your boots if you plan on exploring the trails.
This is an area rich in wildlife, so bring a camera if you enjoy nature photography.
Here at the hostel we speak English, and all our staff enjoy talking and helping each other to improve. -
Ajuda
We are looking for independent, eager, and friendly individuals who don't mind doing some manual tasks. We expect fifteen hours of help each week over five days.
The schedule is typically drawn out on Saturdays or Sundays with two days off each week. If you ever need additional or specific days off, we are more than happy to work with you. Our long team staff consists of Fatima, Aimee and Matthew, and we're more than happy to help you out and make you feel at home.
Please note that co-habitation is extremely important and we look for Workawayers who clean up after themselves and live well with others. We are a dynamic hostel and uphold a strong work ethic, but always find time for good fun and humor.
✤If you are interested in applying for a volunteer role, please keep in mind that all applicants must be aged 22+ and non-EU citizens are required to have a valid working visa. When getting in touch, please include the month you'd like to volunteer as the subject of your message.✤ -

We don't provide private rooms, you will be sharing a room with other volunteers.
Free WiFi, breakfast (continental), bedding and laundry are provided.
All volunteers are responsible to provide food/cook for themselves. -

We are located in a rural setting with only two buses per day, the service is less frequent in the off-season, so it's advisable to check the schedule in advance.
The weather can be quite changeable, so we recommend you come prepared with rain gear and dress in layers.
The area the hostels is a haven for hikers, with trails varying in difficulty. The Spinc and the Wicklow Way are popular choices. -

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel. The place is beautiful, the work is fair (3 hours of cleaning per day, 5 days a week) and the staff is so nice. It was also great to be with other volunteers, I met so many amazing people there, who became my friends now.

We were very happy with Oni. We didn't want him to go. He is very kind, calm and peaceful. He was always ready to help and he was willing to do activities. It was simply awesome!!! I spent just 5 weeks there and time flew faster than I could count to ten. The work is easy and most of the times you work fewer hours than expected. It was the first workaway but not the last. 2 months very nice. They went very fast and the people I met was lovely. Both people from the hostel (Trish, Tara, Kate, Andrew, Ajay ...) and the workawayers (Los Bums, Lilly, Lara, Larnie, Sam ...) It's a lovely place to relax and be in contact with the nature.
