Teina was fabulous..the perfect workawayer! He was friendly, helpful and a great asset around the house. He helped with our dogs and cats, cooking and cleaning and moved furniture around. Everyone enjoyed his company and we were sorry to see him go. We recommend Teina 100%.

Sloanne & Kevin were excellent workawayers. Their participation is our tasks were extremely helpful. Sloanne helped in the woods routinely. She followed instructions perfectly and was a joy to work with. Kevin was a regular contributor to house duties, helping in the Kitchen, emptyin the garbage and playing with the dogs. Like many of our experiences we miss Sloanne and Kevin.

I stayed with Siri for about two weeks together with a friend. Our stay was very good, we taught English and did paint work for some hours a day. In our free time we visited the beautiful city of Kamphaeng Phet or just stayed home in a comfortable room. We both felt very welcomed and I would recommend such an experience to everyone.

I was in Long Pa'Sia at the beginning of July 2025 and I had such a memorable experience. I helped with fish pond restoration. Being on the farm was such a unique one in a lifetime experience. Pangiran and Jeuan are so LOVELY, incredibly welcoming and kind. I had the most magical month in Sharon’s jungle paradise. Staying in a beautiful casita with hummingbirds, monkeys and butterflies around my balcony. We worked on different garden projects like cutting back bamboo and building structures with it. I was also able to teach a few classes in the beautiful yoga Shala. Sharon is one of the most inspiring women I have met - ask her for her stories if you get the chance ☺️ Mary and Javi and all the others were also super helpful und lovely to work with. I can’t recommend this place enough - it will forever be in my heart ❤️ thank you!

Vincent stayed with me in Toronto. He is a mature and responsible young guy who's eager to explore and learn. He helped with house chores, followed my house rules and also spent time with my dad at the hospital. We also hung out, danced at the bars, swam at the pool, shared many stories and experiences about life and travel. He is very friendly, easy going and is generally a fun guy to hang out and host. I recommend him to future hosts and is a great addition to the workaway community. Good luck and safe travels Vince! Thanks for your visit. We appreciate it!

My time volunteering at the cortijo was extremely rewarding and memorable to say the least! First, I will forever be spoiled by the wine and can confidently consider myself a wine snob now. Helping produce the next round of wine (a record amount!) was such a rich experience, as I got to partake in every step, from picking the grapes (and eating many) to processing them to pressing them. We also did various other tasks like harvesting figs, almonds, and apples, and working in the garden. I learned a lot about self-sufficiency during this experience, and I really admire Sarah and John's lifestyle. The countless conversations we had were also a part of the rich experience, and I am impressed by how many topics we covered :) Sarah and John are vibrant, hilarious, thoughtful, and hard workers. I really appreciated their clear communication and expectations. I can tell they learn something new from each Workaway experience and always make sure it's a rich experience for every volunteer. I also really enjoyed bonding with my co-volunteers, as we had lots of great laughs. And of course, I will always miss sweet Shep and the kittens. I visited the kittens every day during my stay and it was very therapeutic for me :) Thank you Sarah and John for this incredible volunteer experience! I hope to return <3

We had a great experience at Mihkel’s and Beatrice’s orchard! We got in touch with the whole family easily and enjoyed talking to Mihkel and Beatrice and playing with their two lovely boys. The food provided by them was great! The tasks we had were easy to adopt and we had the chance to learn a lot about apples and how to use them to create great and tasty products. The area around their orchard is beautiful and they gave us two bicycles to go to the two small villages around. If you would like to discover a wider area you need a car as there is no public transport. The room we stayed in was large and clean and we had our own bathroom and living room. Thank you for the great time and new experience Mihkel and Beatrice!!

I stayed for a week in a lovely house in Terrigal. Anja and Alberto were very warm and welcoming, and I was truly happy to be there. Their dog, Pipo, was always hungry and would adorably beg for food whenever I was eating. The nearby beach had a beautiful view and a refreshing breeze. I wish both of them all the best in the future.

Camille y Yann cuidaron nuestra casa y nuestras mascotas durante 5 semanas en las que estuvimos ausentes. Fueron muy responsables e hicieron las tareas que les solicitamos. Muy cariñosos y dedicados con las mascotas. Cuidaron muy bien el alojamiento y dejaron todo limpio y ordenado. Compartimos pocos días (antes y después de nuestro viaje) , pero fue suficiente para darnos cuenta que son una pareja muy simpática, con muy buena predisposición, abiertos y muy responsables. Ha sido una excelente experiencia haberlos dejado a cargo de nuestra casa, y los recomendamos abiertamente a otros anfitriones.

My time with Luisa was extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, energized and cared for. Luisa is a terrifically kind person with deep links to her community, and I was lucky enough to be a part of her many interesting and engaging activities. Through her, I: -attended multiple events with her school and students, including a "save the world" recycling walk through Alba -went to free classical concerts in Turin -ate wonderful meals every day, especially when her friends joined in -and so much more. Luisa cared for me when I was sick, taking me to doctors and picking up medicine with me in town. We shared laughs and great conversations about art, culture and globalism. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Luisa. It was everything I could've asked for and more. I wholeheartedly recommend joining her as a Workawayer. Enjoy :)

Kadhy was a good volunteer — she was very kind and taught me English in a great way. We also had very interesting conversations in English about our families, hobbies, and even topics like politics and travel. She followed our house rules and was a pleasure to host. I highly recommend her as a volunteer.

Citlali was very helpful and did a great job in my garden. I enjoyed her company and having intersting chats with her. Really appreciated it when Citlali made a cake for my birthday and cooked up Dutch pancakes which we shared with my neighbours - we had a wonderful evening.

Michael and Caroline were a wonderful addition to our family... so relaxed, calm and easy going. They fit into our home effortlessly and were truly fantastic with the children, always engaging, playing and bringing such a kind and patient energy to every moment. They were both excellent cooks, with Caroline introducing us to cucumber soup and Michael continually spoiling us with incredible meals. I think the whole family (yes, even Frances) were grateful for your care and creativity with meals, wanting us to try different things and encouraging all of us to step a little outside our comfort zones. And let's not forget the formal dinners, where Caroline regularly arrived at dinner beautifully “styled” by the girls... full hair and makeup, dresses, jewels and endless good humour. Thank you both for your hard work, the initiative you took, and your care... the way you approached everything with thoughtfulness and respect. We would have loved for you to stay longer, but we’re so excited to see what’s next in your many business ventures. You are always welcome back, we look forward to seeing you again soon... and not just on WhatsApp!

Anna and Fred are an absolutely brilliant couple who stayed for a couple of weeks in late September - I'd honestly give them a 6-star rating if I could. Anna is a graphic designer who redesigned our entire welcome pack/portfolio (it's massive) while doing some outdoor jobs too. Fred is a born explorer out in all weather who's fit and fast at the work he was allocated. Jobs for both included redressing a perched culvert for native fish access, lots of weedeating, seed distribution, tree release, track maintenance etc. They are both great conversationalists and so easy to get along with. If you get a chance to host this excellent couple you should definitely go for it - highly recommended.

Beautiful place with great people! The farm was beautiful and I instantly felt welcomed - I loved going to bingo, driving the car and attending animals at the farm. Bruno made sure I feel comfortable at the place and I can recommend the experience, thanks!

This was our first Workaway experience and we enjoyed every minute of it. Sarah, Javier, Nicolàs and Sofia welcomed us in their family from the moment we arrived. They all have a great sense of humor and we shared many laughs. The accommodation is very nice, the food is plentiful and the work is fair. We enjoyed getting to know the lucky goats Paco and Lulu we built a wolf proof fenced off area for and we hope they will appreciate everything we've all done for them! We will definitely stay in touch with the family!

We had a great time working and staying with Will. He is a busy man, but always made sure to check in with us and provide us with anything we needed. Working with him was a fun experience and we got to see how he's passionately building two start-ups at once. If we ever return to La Paz we'd love to return to work and stay with Will.

We hosted Armando an d Martina for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed their company! They worked hard and did a great job clearing our backyard and getting rid of all the blackberry bushes. Made us a nice Italian diner. They are easy going and really nice to have around. Guys, always welcome again and have a great stay in Australia! Keep us posted on your adventures!
