I was so lucky to have possibility to immerse in e peacefull life of Vincenza, Salao and Their "family". Observing their respectful attitude towards animals and surrounding nature was tuching. My job in the vegetable garden was simple and easy, taking care of chicken was easy, observing them fascinated and walking with Coco just plesure. I loved The localisation of the house, very peaceful yet very close to Polignano a Mare from witch I could easiliy visit by train nearby cities. I had a bike at my disposal and and a lot of tips and sugestions where to go. Mealtimes were celebrated and we shared stories from our travels. I am very grateful for Vincenza how patient she was correcting my linguistick errors. I higly recomend this place for naturelovers.I hope to come back there, its a great place for a city break. It was an absolute pleasure to have Leon with us and assist us with our numerous outdoor projects. There wasn't a task that he couldn't handle! He consistently put in full days of work, enabling us to make significant progress on several projects, including preparing our gardens for the fall, removing trees, digging holes, moving bags of concrete, etc. Any hosts would be fortunate to have Leon lend a hand with their projects. He is an intelligent, methodical, and energetic young man who maintained his sense of humor throughout the demanding workday. There were absolutely no communications issues as he speaks English as good as any Canadian. He was never a "fussy eater" at our table. We also had many insightful conversations with him, as he possesses a well-balanced outlook on life. Good luck, Leon! Your future is undoubtedly bright.

Helena stayed with our family for a few weeks, and it was a truly enriching experience. From the very beginning, she integrated with kindness, intelligence, and respect. Our children absolutely loved spending time with her — especially learning some Italian! She was always engaged and caring, joining them for walks, playing board games, visiting the park, and helping them learn in fun, creative ways. She showed genuine interest in them and quickly became a positive and trusted presence in our home. Helena is a very intelligent and thoughtful person — we could talk with her about any subject! She is determined, believes deeply in her principles, and shares them in a calm and inspiring way. We really enjoyed cooking together and trying new vegetarian dishes while learning more about her values and culture. She has great respect for others and for cultural differences, and her curiosity to understand our region and way of life made every exchange even more meaningful. We truly appreciated her openness, honesty, and warm spirit. Helena left a beautiful mark on our family, and we recommend her wholeheartedly to any future hosts. Let me begin by confirming what’s already been mentioned in other reviews: this is a great Workaway experience. Wholesome operation. Classic wholesome host energy. Thank you, Nazareth and Rodrigo, for welcoming me onto your piece of land and into your home. Thank you for all the experiences you provided, the honest feedback, and for welcoming everyone who was lucky enough to spend time with you while I was there. The property is about a couple of hours from Bogotá, situated at a lower altitude than the city, offering much more tolerable and favorable weather. The daily contribution is absolutely worth every penny—you get three square meals a day packed with flavor, made with love, experience, and care. You won’t feel the need to buy extra ingredients from town unless you really want to. The town itself is small and friendly—one of those places where everybody knows everybody. Rodrigo and Nazareth are respected pillars of the community. The property sits in a secluded part of town, up in the hills surrounded by farms, offering a great landscape and spectacular views of the town and the rolling hills beyond. The work is light, as mentioned in other reviews—some landscaping projects, some restoration and cleaning, and a few other small tasks. This isn’t one of those “come be our manual labor monkey for shelter” situations. It’s a healthy environment that gives you space and peace if that’s what you’re looking for. Nazareth and Rodrigo genuinely care about your experience here and are as hospitable as they come. There’s even some foraging on the property and opportunities to learn techniques used to cultivate what grows on the farm. The lodging can best be described as bio-esque, built with local materials. People literally pay money elsewhere just to have this kind of experience. I fully endorse and recommend this Workaway to anyone sitting on the fence. It’s a wonderful way to experience a slice of what Colombia has to offer. I felt welcome here—and you will too. Nous avons passé deux semaines chez Thierry, Michelle et Pablo à la ferme. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l’aise et avons partagé la vie de famille. C’était notre première expérience Workaway, et ce fut un séjour très marquant et agréable. Le travail était juste et plaisant. Nous avons récolté des pommes de terre et des haricots, préparé et semé les potagers, nettoyé des tuiles, créé des terrasses sur un chemin, enlevé des chardons, taillé des haies et préparé des tomates séchées. Bref, des tâches très variées ! Thierry a cuisiné de nombreux plats végétariens créatifs et délicieux – c’était très inspirant et savoureux. Nous avons aussi très bien dormi. C’était un très beau moment, et les souvenirs de l’âne Kirikou et des moutons nous manquent déjà. Un grand merci de Bruno & Hannah!

I stayed three weeks in Ica helping out with (Mujer Valiente – Women’s Empowerment) program, and it was a truly fulfilling experience! Even though the project is still in its early phase, I really enjoyed talking and sharing ideas with Karina. Brainstorming together was very inspiring and helped us take the first steps toward building a foundation for the project. We usually worked either in the morning or the afternoon, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with flexible timings. She manages different projects, so you can ask what projects are available when you apply and you can work together to decide what’s best. Karina is such an inspiring and passionate woman! She’s incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything you need. On top of that, she’s an amazing cook, and she happily adapts to any dietary preferences (for me, she always prepared delicious vegetarian meals!). The accommodation is comfortable, and staying with her and her husband Silvio truly feels like being at home. The atmosphere is very familiar and welcoming , definitely a great opportunity for a full immersion into Peruvian culture. There are many nice places nearby to visit over the weekend (Paracas, Nazca, Canyons), and I also had the chance to go with them to their hometown, Challaca, a small village in the Andes that is simply a paradise. It’s so peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature and fields of avocado, fruit, and corn. It was wonderful to be there, enjoying and supporting them in their activities. They made me fall even more in love with this country. An experience I’ll never forget!

We hosted Amy for two weeks and it was one of our best experiences ;) She immediately got on well with our kids and we really liked her way of doing, very kind and polite. She always respected our family atmosphere and it was easy and fun to live together for two weeks! She requires special attention in the kitchen, due to her allergy, but it wasn't difficult to pay attention to the few things she had to avoid. The children loved being with her and we will miss her very much (Lulù too!). We hope she could visit us again one day ;)

It is not easy in my home totally off gried but she adapted very quikly. I think she did her best and me too. I am curious how she use the knowledge in Bulgarien. I hope you are well, and I wish the best, have a good ride in the life!

Mint is really great, she is understanding and gives great advice, she shows us the city by taking us to festivals and nice places in the city. Volunteering is simple, we teach small groups of students in a fun and joyful way. The students are great and we all have what we need to work well. As for accommodation, we have a room with air conditioning and a bathroom with hot water. We lack nothing and we enjoy the city of Nakhon Sawan and its great park.

Gözde wasn't just a guest; she became a valued member of our family. She's incredibly kind, trustworthy, and respectful. She quickly formed a strong bond with our son, and every moment they spent together contributed to his development. Gözde, a true expert with her deep knowledge of the German language and culture, is also a highly accomplished German teacher. She made a significant contribution to our family's German learning process. We had both fun and educational times with games, songs, and creative activities. We did various activities together, went on enjoyable excursions, and spent quality time together. Thanks to Gözde's patient, caring, and sincere demeanor, our son felt very comfortable and safe with her. During her stay with us, she was responsible, adapted to the household routine, and supported us in every way. Furthermore, despite going through a very difficult time, such as the death of her grandfather just a few days before our planned visit, her willingness to cancel her plans further enhanced our respect and appreciation for her. We are incredibly fortunate to have met someone like her. Gözde is no longer just a guest; she's truly a family member. We will always cherish the memories we shared with her with love and longing. Our home and our hearts will always be open to her.

I had a wonderful 17 days-experience at Silvio's, who is one of the most warm-hearted persons on Earth! He let me immerse in an authentic Sicilian environment, with all the beauties that one can imagine (food, deep conversations, emotions, music, family, sea, freedom, chill…the list can go forever 😊). I feel incredibly grateful for the kindest acceptance and welcoming atmosphere throughout the whole experience, I truly hope it was not the last time 😊

Le temps est passé si vite que j'ai oublié d écrire un feedback . Maya est une merveilleuse jeune femme, toujours de bonne humeur et motivée, elle fera tres vite partie de votre famille. Elle a été volontaire pour toute les taches à faire sur le lieu tant au niveau de l'autonomie que tous ensemble. Maya est une personne au grand coeur, intelligente, drole , bref tu nous manques, j'espere que tu reviendras nous voir , pour manger tous ensemble des CURLYS BALLLLSSS :) hahaha ps : elle cuisine aussi tres bien meme si elle n'est pas d'accord avec cela ;)

I had a great time these four weeks in Tanzania with Jema and Hilda, volunteering as a teacher in art, geography, English , sports, and science. During this time, I was able to work with many wonderful children, as well as get to know a lot of great people in my free time. The kids at school were very enthusiastic , curious , creative, and funny, which left me deeply impressed and gave me wonderful memories. I stayed with the school principal's family, who welcomed me warmly and supported me lovingly from the very beginning. I felt like part of the family there. I'm very thankful for everything they have done for me. I learned a lot about the Tanzanian school system, the people's everyday lives, their culture, and their language. Of course, there were also some difficulties for me, like the heat and some health issues, but those problems were normal when visiting a different country. I am incredibly grateful for this time and would recommend doing this trip again one day.

I was supposed to stay only one month with Jordan at Inspire, but ended up staying until the end of the season, because it felt just right. I had a wonderful time there, Jordan is a great host and horsewoman. Her work with horses is just incredible and I had so much fun learning from her and all the horses. I had never worked with horses before and Jordan was still very welcoming and answered any questions I had. Thank you for having me and for letting me fall in love with horses again and especially Scarlet! I'll miss you all. xx

On a adoré passer deux mois avec Morgane et Corentin, et on les aurait volontiers kidnappé pour plus longtemps! Ce sont deux très belles personnes, très complémentaires et vraiment agréables à vivre. Matures, organisés, avec de l'initiative et plein de compétences à apporter, toujours partants et volontaires, et capable de communiquer clairement sur leurs besoins et envies. Un gros coup de coeur pour eux, et on leur envoie plein de bonnes ondes pour la suite!
