La visita de Emily a nuestro proyecto fue realmente agradable, es una chica muy amable, sonriente, paciente y amorosa. Siempre fue muy fácil la convivencia y era divertido compartir y hablar de diferentes temas. Nos ayudó en diferentes labores, como en el jardín plantando café, sembrando hortalizas y abonando. Nos encantaría verla de nuevo un día Gracias por tu bonita energía, hasta la próxima!

Joan is, as the other feedbacks already say, a very friendly and open hearted person. I got to visit her workshop and also went to the cinema together. The work was short, pleasant, flexible, communication always very easy. It was a calming experience and I recommend it to anyone who's looking for a place to wind down with good food, nice views and good talks :)

with Manoush was my very first Workaway experience and it was one of the best time in my life. She and the place were perfect and I can say this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!:)) Thank You! Thank You!:)

Workaway review of Leonardo by Lucas Leonardo stayed at our property from the 30/08 until the 20/09. During these days he helped me a lot with maintenance work around the property and also for a deck building project we started together. We shared great moments in work, training (BJJ) and around the table. He lived in a tiny house during his stay and left it properly cleaned and ready for the next guests, which was really great. I am really glad I got to meet him, and he knows he will always be welcome here.

We feel so fortunate to have had Mary come and help us in our home & too large garden. She is kind and patient beyond her years. She is soon competent in every thing you ask of her and a joy to have around. We especially enjoyed her cute and funny practical jokes, and positive and quiet warm demeanor.

Great time near Finlandia, it was great experience helping out a great team led by Angela. Great surroundings, guests, food and place to stay.

Jolianne et Antoine ont été très accueillants dès notre arrivée, ce sont des personnes ouvertes. Nous avons passé 6 semaines très agréable avec eux et les filles. Les tâches que nous avons effectué ont été diverses et variées : Cuisine de repas et collations, préparation de conserves (cannage), gardiennage des filles et aide générale à la maison. (nous avons pris du plaisir à celles-ci et beaucoup appris!) Le studio proposé est excellent. Nous avons aussi pu profité des extérieurs et faire des chouettes randonnées au Parc Forillon qui est situé proche de la maison. Nous recommandons cette famille !

We were so fortunate to have Lynda join us at the Resort. She was a wonderful yoga instructor and brought such a warm, positive energy to every class. Beyond yoga, she contributed in many areas of the resort — serving meals, housekeeping, gardening, resort cleanliness, and more. Lynda always jumped in with a smile, eager to help and willing to learn. She truly stood out with her care and attentiveness when serving meals to our guests, and she was a pleasure to have as part of our team. A lovely person through and through — we wish her all the best and highly recommend her to future hosts!

Die Zeit im Dschungel war unbeschreiblich, 2 Wochen sind wie im Flug vergangen. Ich hatte etwas Sorge zu dem Projekt zu gehen, da ich zuvor negative Erfahrungen auf einer anderen Farm gemacht hatte, aber schon am ersten Tag habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es sind eigentlich immer andere Freiwillige da, was einen netten Austausch bietet. Außerdem kann man gemeinsame Ausflüge zu Wasserfällen, Bergen oder zum Nationalpark machen. Die Landschaft ist wirklich atemberaubend schön und dadurch, dass man dort kein Netz hat, kann man sich perfekt von der Außenwelt abkapseln und entspannen. Es gibt aber auch einen Ort zu dem man 20 Minuten gehen kann, um Nachrichten zu empfangen. Frank hat auch guten Emfang bei seinem Zimmer und bei Dringlichkeiten teilt er auch gerne sein WLAN. Frank ist wirklich ein sehr herzlicher, ausgeglichener und liebevoller Mensch. Er erkundigt sich immer nach dem Wohlergehen der anderen und macht oft Witze. Zudem ist er sehr hilfsbereit und äußerst geduldig, was es sehr angenehm macht neue Sachen zu lernen, weil er alles auf eine informative und gelassene Art übermittelt. Generell hat Frank sehr viel Wissen und es ist immer interessant gewesen mit ihm zu reden. Die Arbeit, die dort stattfindet ist immer freiwillig, man wird zu nichts gezwungen, was den Umgang miteinander noch viel lockerer und entspannter macht. Es macht sehr viel Spaß zusammen zu kochen und peruanische Gerichte wie beispielsweise Chaufa kennenzulernen. Zudem gibt es viele andere verschiedene Dinge, die man lernen kann, wie zum Beispiel selbst Backsteine herzustellen, Regale mit Bambus zu bauen, unterschiedliche Pfanzen einzupflanzen und wie man natürliche Seife mit Asche herstellt. Ingesamt war es eine wundervolle Zeit und ich würde sehr gerne wiederkommen, um etwas länger zu bleiben, da die Zeit so schnell vergangen ist.

Jesebel was a great workaway, amazing chef 👩‍🍳 she does cook very tasty Asian cousine, I guess we are forever friend circle now. See you around the world jes.

Vasco stayed with us for a whole month – wow, and how fast that month passed! It was filled with productive work sessions, good food, and great conversations. Vasco stands out with his very polite, respectful, and genuinely interested personality. You can really see that when he starts something, he wants to go all in and do it well. He even prepared beforehand by watching YouTube videos about boat refits – how cool is that! And at 48, full of energy and endurance – just after breakfast he was already outside with the jackhammer, chipping off paint, haha! Vasco didn’t join Workaway just for a place to stay, but to really get involved in a meaningful project, and we truly appreciated that. It’s wonderful to still have him around as he’s now starting a new chapter here in Portugal, living nearby! :) Vasco also cooked some very tasty meals and always “saw” the work – not only during the 5-hour work sessions but also around the household, always lending a hand without being asked. We can warmly recommend Vasco as a Workawayer and wish him all the best. Thanks for everything and lots of love from us <3

Guillaume stayed with us for two weeks, and it was really nice having you on the project! :) During your time here, the boat changed a lot, and together with the team we made great progress on the deck every day. We really appreciated your help! You did many different tasks, worked independently, and always did a good job. Your mechanical interest and background clearly showed, and it was great to see your skills in action. Thanks for everything, and we wish you only the best for your next adventures! :)

IRA – beautiful name, beautiful personality <3 Ira is one of those people you immediately feel as soon as you meet them. Full of good vibes, interesting questions, curious thoughts, and pure creativity! We loved having you here on the project. Ira has no problem integrating into a new group, accepting everyone just as they are, and always caring for the well-being of others — something we truly appreciated. With all the experience they’ve gained from different kinds of jobs, they always found ways to make their helping hands useful! During their time here, a lot changed on the boat and we made amazing progress on the deck. Thank you for being part of it, and we wish you only the best — may you receive the same love you spread around <3 Lots of love from us! :)

Weenee was our very first Workawayer, and we were her first hosts—what a perfect match! She quickly became like a little sister living far away, and this wonderful experience made me fall in love with Workaway. Her incredible language skills made communication a breeze. Whether it was coordinating with our domestic helper from indonesia , communicating with my parents, in-laws, my kids, or another Workawayer, I could rely on Weenee to handle everything flawlessly. She was proactive and independent, planning outings and taking my four-year-old son on adventures by bus . She also set clear boundaries for him, and he absolutely adored her company. Even now, he remembers Weenee’s name and the places they visited together. Sometimes, when we pass by those spots, he’ll excitedly say, “Weenee took me here!” Weenee is also incredibly hygienic and resourceful. She’d finish leftovers from the previous meal and clean up after herself, which I absolutely loved. In person, she’s much softer and gentler than her photos suggest, making her a joy to be around. She’s easy to communicate with, always kind, and full of sweet words that warmed my heart. Writing this review, I miss her so much! She mentioned she’d share more travel logs and photos when she has time, but I bet she’s super busy—someone as amazing as her is surely in high demand wherever she goes! I can’t wait to see her again. ❤️

Un’avventura iniziata senza aspettative, che mi ha lasciato con nuove conferme… e altrettanti dubbi, su me stessa, le persone e il cammino da intraprendere. Il circus mi ha smosso nel bene e nel male dei limiti. Ha un temperamento forte, diretto. È una di quelle persone che smuovono anche i sassi. Dietro la sua mente razionale si nasconde una bontà autentica, rivolta sempre verso l’altro. Il suo metodo è anche volto ad aiutare chi ha di fronte ad essere piu cosciente. Lo fa con il pubblico – è una maestra indiscussa in questo – ma anche con i bambini e con chi collabora con lei. È una performer incredibile, godi tanto del suo spettacolo. In maggioranza i caberet che ho visto presentavano delle bellezze che venivano da ognuna delle micro follie che viveva in loro. Non mi interessa parlare dei mezzi usati, perché raramente si incontrano persone il cui fine non è mai sé stesso, né il materialismo. Wanda lavora per l’altro. Le persone incontrate tra il campus estivo e il circo sono state semplicemente belle: vive, presenti, accoglienti. Sono entrata in un momento turbolento del circo e della vita personale di Wanda e di alcuni collaboratori, ma invece di mettere distanza mi hanno fatto entrare nelle loro vite e hanno dato il massimo. Sono certa che nei prossimi mesi emergeranno con più chiarezza cose che oggi ancora non comprendo. A presto!

Josh was a really great Volunteer and we enjoyed his company much! He helped alot and also had a lot of skills that we could use! He did help alot and did all his tasks great! We would always take him back! He is a great Volunteer and every host will be happy to have him! Sending blessings

We spent almost two weeks with Uttam and his nephew Sahadev, it was our first WorkAway and what can I say... They are wonderful people who always made sure that we were as comfortable as possible and had as many opportunities as possible to discover their projects and customs. We were able to help with the maintenance of the garden (we were on school holidays during our visit), were able to make a bamboo table with Tifanny and were able to visit his native village, Saping where we were able to meet Uttam's family and discover the scale of the school that he was able to help build to help the youth of his village. In short, go for it! Uttam and his family are the best hosts you can come across, generous, friendly and above all great! We miss them already...

We had a great time here, everyone was so welcoming and kind with us, we learned new things and how they prepare themselves for the upcoming winter. They took time each weekend to show us around which was great. Nice meals and conversations every day and the archery sessions were amazing, thanks to Etienne for teaching us how to do it! Bea an Laurent are so kind and funny, we had great conversations with them, along with Nico they make a great team! Thanks to all of you 👏
