I had three beautiful weeks at the rescue shelter! The work is good and the people are amazing! During my time there was always another volunteer, sometimes even two. On the free days one can go to Valpo, viña, quintay, santiago.... to enjoy the Time. Muchas Gracias por todo Dani! PS: bring a book for the free time during the week

An incredible experience! I stayed for a month and loved every minute of it. The hostel has a wonderful vibe, the work is fair, and the host is simply amazing. It felt less like work and more like hanging out with friends while keeping the place running. Definitely one of my best Workaway experiences. Thanks, bro!

Fue un placer conocer a Elio y Anicette siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Elio es un excelente cocinero y nos deleitó con sus deliciosos panes. Con Anicette tuvimos lindas charlas, es una profesional de la jardinería y me ayudó a transplantar muchos plantines.

Adrien était un excellent bénévole avec qui nous avons passé de super moment. Il a su bien travailler et a été très serviable.

I had the pleasure of spending almost a month with Beatrice and Agnes. During the first two and a half weeks, I worked, then took my accumulated days off to explore the island with a rental car. Beatrice and Agnes were wonderfully flexible and supportive when planning this, which I really appreciated. 
From the very beginning, communication with Beatrice and Agnes was always open, clear, and reliable (before and during my stay). Everything was well organized, and I always knew what to expect. Their honesty and straightforward way of communicating made the whole experience very easy and pleasant. 
Most of my work was in the garden (mainly weeding and general maintenance) along with a few house tasks like dusting and cleaning the terrace with the pressure washer (which I actually enjoyed a lot!). The work was clearly explained, well-organized, and easy to manage independently, while support was always available when needed. 
I stayed in a beautiful little cottage overlooking the wild, stormy Atlantic in November – a truly peaceful place perfect for anyone who enjoys nature and spending time on your own. 
Beatrice and Agnes are warm, open-hearted, and generous hosts. I felt welcome from the very beginning. For example they shared their freshly baked bread with me, and I was invited to several lovely dinners sometimes together with their lovely und joyfull friends. I also enjoyed spending time with the tenant’s dog and helping the little puppy Zoë settle in. They often took me along to town for grocery shopping, which I really appreciated. 
I’ll truly miss the peaceful island life, the ocean breeze, and above all, the wonderful hosts.

We had the opportunity to host Sara for a bit less than a month, at a moment when our project was going through a particularly demanding period. After two last-minute cancellations and another volunteer failing to fulfil their part of the work, we suddenly found ourselves short of hands right before our big retreat. Since the agreed arrival, Sara stepped in and has been our main help, relieving some of the pressure with grace and an easy-going attitude. From the first days, she integrated herself naturally into the rhythm of the house, the family setting, and the flow of volunteers and visitors. Her respect for our lifestyle and spaces, good work ethic, and grounded work habits helped us feel confident relying on her. She was sensitive to the challenges around her, handled everything with calmness, and when needed, presented tact and emotional intelligence. Despite the pressure of the moment, Sara remained light-hearted, low-maintenance, and kind. She consistently found ways to uplift the atmosphere, support others, and bring small sparks of joy into the day. Whether through her book recommendations and tasty red lentil soup, her cultural insights, thoughtful conversations, or even her genius plank challenge, she contributed beautifully to the social life of the house. Together, we shared many moments of connection, laughter, and smooth collaboration. We wholeheartedly recommend Sara to any future host. She is responsible, trustworthy, kind-hearted, and ready to take action wherever needed. Hosting her was a pleasure, and we would gladly welcome her back anytime.

Staying with Simeon was an absolutely wonderful experience. The accommodation is comfortable, peaceful, and perfectly located— in the town of Los Realejos, yet surrounded by a beautiful, rural garden that makes you feel completely immersed in nature. Puerto de la Cruz is also just a short ride away, which makes exploring the area incredibly easy. One of the highlights was definitely the food. The host cooks delicious and makes sure you’re well fed, and you even get to enjoy plenty of fresh tropical fruit straight from the garden. They also provided me with a bicycle, which was perfect for getting around and discovering the surroundings at my own pace. And snorkeling expirience is ocean is also something that Im thankfull of. In exchange, the work is very fair—just a few hours in the gorgeous garden, which honestly felt more like a relaxing activity than a task. The overall atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and authentic. I’m truly grateful for the time I spent here, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this Workaway to anyone looking for a meaningful and memorable experience.

Wir schreiben diese Bewertung leider viel zu spät – einfach, weil der Alltag nach der Reise leider so schnell wieder losgegangen ist. Dabei war es so schön wie der gesamte Trip uns auf eine tolle Art und Weise aus unserer Komfortzone herausgeholt hat und uns eine ganz andere Art zu leben gezeigt hat. Trotzdem möchten wir unbedingt festhalten, wie positiv unsere erste Workaway-Erfahrung bei Kiki und Mo in Spanien war. Wir haben uns trotz der Hitze von Anfang an voll wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Wir haben beim Bau des Pools geholfen der leider nicht rechtzeitig bevor wir gefahren sind fertig geworden ist aber wir hoffen er wurde mittlerweile fleißig genutzt ;) Außerdem war es richtig besonders das wir ein eigenes separates Haus gehabt haben, das wir nutzen durften - wie ein airbnb. Ganz toll war auch die herzliche Integration in den Alltag so haben wir auch neben Mo und Kiki echt liebe Leute kennengelernt. Auch das essen war sehr gut und wir waren immer gut verpflegt. Eine Erfahrung, die wir auf jeden fall weiter empfehlen und wir freuen uns wenn wir nochmal die Möglichkeit haben vorbeizukommen! Wir vermissen Lea und Lausi!

Paul&Sonia were a great couple and helped us greatly with our renovation project they worked without complaint and even extended their stay when we needed to go down to the coast,which was greatly appreciated.Paul worked tirelessly with myself and another workaway,Sonia was great at hiding things for me in the new workshop, they would be welcome back anytime . We wish them all the best on their future travels.

Melanie is a great person! she is very responsable, reliable, kind, always with a smile. Our guest were delighted with her yoga classes!

Staying with Chelo was like stepping into a fairy tale. She is a beautiful, caring, and deeply sharing soul, and her two cuddly cats made the house feel even more like home. The atmosphere of the place carries peace, creativity, and a sense of sacred calm. The house itself is like a hidden gem in paradise surrounded by nature, with quiet energy that invites reflection and inspiration. Nearby is the charming town of Nemi, offering stunning views and delicious strawberry desserts. Definitely a place worth visiting during your stay. Daily life with Chelo felt natural and connected. Communication was easy, and she gave me space to be myself while still making me feel welcome and included. I felt seen, appreciated, and respected. This is a place for people who love nature, inner peace, and authentic connections. I am deeply grateful for this experience and the time we shared. Thank you, Chelo ✨

Heidi and I stayed with Flore and her family for 3 weeks. The moment Flore picked us up from the airport, she made us feel at ease right away. She can really brighten up any mood! The rest of the family welcomed us warmly as well. They are all so joyful and friendly! And their home is so dreamy! Even though I mostly didn’t understand a single word in french at the lunch and dinner table, I was happy to immerse myself in french culture. The work was varied, which wasn’t difficult at all with this large property, as there was lots to do! Throughout our stay, we did some weeding, aligning stones and mulching wood, as well as planting trees or preparing the garden for winter in general. Flore always made sure that we were comfortable and confident enough to carry out the tasks she gave us. She taught us a lot about maintaining a garden, also about life and history. This woman is truly inspiring and full of knowledge. I enjoyed listening to all of her interesting stories! Heidi and I were so happy to help out in the garden and in the house, especially because we got rewarded with delicious food and delightful, thought-provoking conversations afterwards. And in our free time we had plenty of opportunities to explore the local area, Paris and Reims! Thank you so much for this enriching experience and I dearly recommend this host to everyone!

I had a great time doing this Workaway, I was here for 2 months. It is by a very beautiful lake and woods that I really enjoyed exploring, and also basically next to the S-bahn!! Lupa is a sweet husky that has a lot of energy so it is important to keep her walking when you do. the Workaway room has a pretty view of the lake and it is nice because you are upstairs to have your own space. Momo is sincere, sometimes strict, and kind. She has specific instructions for workaway that are easy to get into a rhythm of. She typically texted me each morning with things to do, or I would figure out what I hadn't done in the days before. This Workaway is ideal for people who would like their own space!! and time with a husky, and who are ready to clean consistently. I am happy with my experience❤️

James came last minute for a few days ,stayed in his camper ,he was a great help with our renovation project.Shame he wasn't here longer but his help was appreciated and is welcome to return any time .

I spent two weeks in Cañicosa with Pili and José, and it was exactly the experience I needed. Pili and José are genuinely kind, thoughtful hosts. I joined their daily meditation, which quickly became one of my favourite moments of the day. The work was varied and enjoyable — cleaning, gardening, painting, making apple jam, and helping with different tasks around the houses. Everything was well-organised and never overwhelming. Cañicosa itself is tiny and remote in the best possible way. About twenty people live here, more on weekends when people come from Madrid. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, and there is even an excellent bar/restaurant where you can meet locals. I had my own room and a dedicated bathroom, which made the stay very comfortable. I originally came to learn Spanish, but I ended up reflecting deeply and making some important life decisions. Cañicosa gave me the headspace I didn’t know I was missing. A wonderful stay, highly recommended.
