I spent around a week here and my experience was unforgettable. The food was outstanding, the views were amazing, and the hosts were so kind and wonderful. wish I could have stayed longer but I hopefully will be back.

Will was extremely kind and friendly. He was very gracious and hosted me while I was traveling through. We built the frame to the patio roof, weeded the gardens and cleaned the driveway. Everyone staying there was really nice and I am thankful for the opportunity I had to hang out with everyone.

Steph is an incredible host, the property is breathtaking, the dogs and cats are comedians and the farm provides many moments for self reflection and meditation. By the end of my stay I was so sad to leave. The work varies- weed whipping, harvesting fruit, fixing pvc pipes ,making garden beds, etc. but Steph is great at communicating, coordinating and teaching. I recommend drinking a lot of water, wearing long sleeves and bringing bug bite relief. Embrace the remoteness and get in touch with the Earth. There is so much I gained from being here. Thanks for having me and listening to me yap all the time!

Fabi trabalhou com a gente aqui no sítio por umas duas semanas. Sempre topava as tarefas e trazia questionamentos sobre muitos assuntos relacionados ao trabalho, o que me pareceu legal também, para aprimorar as propostas e melhorar juntos os planos de trabalho. Bem disposto e bem humorado, Fabi está de parabéns pelo seu empenho com a língua portuguesa!

Poppy and Harry were great to host for a week, and helped enthusiastically with numerous task around the house and garden - weeding, garden bed preparation, and some light construction jobs we've been putting off for some time. Thanks for your help guys!

My time spent with Pasy and her family was great. Everyone is so kind, welcoming and accommodating, and their home is very comfortable. The kids have so much energy and enthusiasm! They really seemed to enjoy when I created games for their English lessons, and I hope they are feeling a little more confident in English! Thank you Pasy, for everything!

Mehmet and Tjorban were good workers. There was one day in particular when we worked in a friend’s garden when everyone worked very hard. Otherwise it was fairly easy work around the house and the garden. Everything was done well and I had no complaints. It would have been easier for me if the 3 boys (another friend was there too) had cooked their meals together rather than cooking them individually. However we survived. I would recommend both boys to you as good solid worders. I wish them well in their travels.

Amanda was a good worker. I’m sorry to hear that she found the work hard. Most people think it is easy. There was one day in particular when we worked in a friend’s garden when everyone worked very hard. Otherwise while constant I thought the work easy to medium mostly working around the house and in the garden. Everything was done well and I had no complaints. I would recommend Amanda to you as a good worker. I wish her well in her travels.

Michael was absolutely delightful to work with and as a great participant around the kitchen table. Inclusive, generous and thoughtful of others and a great conversationalist.. well travelled and keen to learn. He worked hard in the garden and in the woodshed on some quite hot days.. painted furniture and washed up dishes galore.always with a positive attitude and a smile on his face. A strong and willing worker.. we miss him already! Happy travels.

I spent nearly four weeks at Thomas Rescue and it was one of the most enriching experience I have had. It was my second workaway and I really feel grown from it and love the trust that has grown between me and Diamanto and Thomas. Especially when I was assisting Thomas to give treatments to the injured dog. Day by day I got more comfortable around the dogs and love being around them a bit more everyday. It took me maybe a week to adjust to the rhythm of the daily tasks and waking up early in the morning (6h30) but I knew why I was doing all this and it kept me motivated. Watching the goats in the afternoon was also kind of therapeutical. During this time of the day it was only me, my thoughts and sometimes playing some music on my phone to the goats with a nice sunset ;) Diamanto would always cook amazing food, I have there tried numerous greek dish (you will have the best orzo pasta). At the end of this stay I got really attached to some dogs and the cats too (Frida was my favorite). Thank you for having me all this time !

We spent two wonderful weeks with Melina, Søren, their two lovely daughters and of course the cuddly dog and two cats and couldn’t have asked for a better Workaway experience. From the very first second, we were welcomed so warmly and immediately felt at home. Because the weather was too cold for outdoor work, Yara mainly helped with renovation projects, which was both interesting and rewarding. The work was fair, well explained, and always appreciated. What really made this stay special was the time we spent together with the family. In the evenings, we often played board games or Mario Kart with them and the kids and enjoyed delicious homecooked meals, which created such a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Our absolute highlight was the Friday night tradition: a classic “junk food movie night,” which we loved and will definitely remember. Melina and Søren are kind, open, and caring hosts, and their home is a place where you truly feel included. We are very grateful for this experience and can wholeheartedly recommend staying with them to any future Workawayer ☺️

Camille and Dylan are very sociable, always ready to lend a hand and with a smile. We had some very pleasant conversations together. We recommend this lovely couple.

My friend and I stayed here for about three weeks and though it took some time to get adjusted to living and working on a construction site, it was a valuable experience and I definitely learned a lot of useful skills. Louis was always happy to answer any questions and help us if we were stuck anywhere, even though he was pretty busy most of the time. We had lots of fun conversations, shared delicious meals (thank you for the amazing food again, Ting!<3), met some very kind people and got to explore Reims, too, since the boat isn‘t far from the city center. We even got to visit Paris, which is quite convenient to reach from there. If you want to live in a very relaxed and understanding household and lay your hands on some construction work where you can actually see your progress, I highly recommend this place. Thank you guys for having me, I‘m going to miss you!:)

I had an amazing time with this lovely family. They were very relaxed about work and gave me a lot of freedom. The food was incredible!honestly more than I could have ever wished for. I felt very welcome and comfortable from the start. I would 100% recommend staying with them.

I stayed with this wonderful family for about 2 weeks. It was my first Workaway experience and I couldn‘t have picked a better place. I was welcomed with open arms and they treat everybody as part of the family. The finca is beautifully located with views of the sea and the Sierra de Tejeda, which I always really enjoyed. The variety of work was wonderful and always brought joy—from cracking almonds, mulching, gardening, sewing to picking olives—every day was different. It was also interesting to see how they practice permaculture. In the mornings, we got to do yoga with Maria and Teo, which was a great way to start the day. The food was always a delight! During the second week, I only ate raw food, which felt really good and was very easy to do on the finca. The other Workaway girls also really grew close to my heart. Thank you also for the music, all the conversations, and your openness. Thank you for creating this place, filled with calm, peace, and love, and for sharing it with others! I am very grateful for this experience and curious to see when I’ll visit again.🤍

I had a wonderful time with James and Nicola! both of them a amazing chefs and especially the Dhal Nicola made on my first night was soooo delicious. I felt very very welcome and would have loved to stay longer:) oh and I think I have never met a dog with such an energy as Ringo. He is truly amazing☺️

Maxi es un alma joven,libre, es muy sabio, tiene una capacidad de observación muy aguda, aporta muchísimo tanto para resolver pequeñas situaciones o inconvenientes como también para poner en valor un espacio ya sea el campo , vivero y otros. Es una persona muy sana, conoce mucho de alimentación , nutrición , colabora con la cocina, es muy tranquilo y siempre tiene buena predisposición para ayudar con cualquier tarea, Lo recomiendo ampliamente para realizar tareas al aire libre que son las que más disfruta y las realiza de manera eficiente. Fue un intercambio muy positivo para mí, porque es una chico muy respetuoso, sencillo, se adapta fácilmente y siempre está abierto al diálogo. Me siento agradecida y afortunada con su presencia en mi casa en estos días🌞

Après plusieurs semaines de woofing un peu partout en Polynésie, c'est la meilleure expérience qu'on ai eu jusqu'ici. Nous avons travaillé sur le bateau de Pipapo pour le remettre en état, il est pédagogue et toujours disponible pour organiser et participer au chantier. Pipapo et Marie sont d'excellents hôtes. On est resté seulement 2 semaines mais on aurait pu rester beaucoup plus longtemps. Niveau logement, c'est digne d'un bon airbnb: grand lit, canapé, sdb privative et petite kitchenette. Vous aurez les repas du midi offert et Marie est une excellente cuisinière. On garde un excellent souvenir de notre expérience et vous remercie encore une fois ! Et puis que dire des Marquises, les paysages, la vie locale, l'absence de tourisme de masse. L'expérience vaut plus que le prix du billet, n'hésitez plus ! Dylan et Camille 🌺

Shirley y Wayne son una pareja amable, respetuosa y comprensiva que compartió aproximadamente una semana con mi familia. Durante su estadía, colaboraron en trabajos agrícolas y participaron activamente en la convivencia familiar. A pesar de las dificultades del idioma, la comunicación fue agradable gracias a una actitud cordial y al apoyo de un voluntario como traductor. Su visita fue una experiencia positiva y enriquecedora, por lo que se les desea el mayor de los éxitos en sus aventuras por Ecuador.

Stayed for two weeks and had a great time. Beautiful place with lovely people. The work environment is very relaxed and often quite independent which I am a fan of. Definitely reccomend.
