Hello!
I'm Chiara, I used to be a Globetrotter before settling down in Syracuse with my love Fabrizio and our three dogs.
I am a teacher, a wine enthusiast and I am proudly and wildly in love with my homeland.
I have a cultural organization and I run many activities at the same time.
In Autumn and Winter I usually work as a Teacher of English and French as second Languages but I am actually revising my German and trying to learn Russian by myself, so this year I'm open to host native speakers of all these languages!

Having many students means exchanging a lot with many different people.
During your stay you'll be totally immersed in the sicilian culture, language, food, landscape and anything else this place has to offer.
Besides the courses, you will enjoy the magic of the ancient Ortigia, the peace of this area, the pets and the sea.

January February and March:
1 native OR proficient English speaker needed.
Task: language practice for my students, 6 hours a day from Thursday to Saturday. Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed totally free.
January 6th - 15th: due to renovation works, we can't host anyone.
I am totally open to Russian speakers for language practice and some general help at home.
I'm offering full board and lodging and you will be completely free during the weekend.
I can even help you learning Italian as I'm a certified teacher.

Acomodação
You will have your own room and a private toilet.
The area is lovely and absolutely not dangerous, we are 5 km from the center and we can give you a bike and a lift when you need them :) there is also a bus stop just in front our gate.
All around, easy to reach by bike, there are some cafés, groceries, a pharmacy, and the best beaches and landscapes Syracuse has to offer :)

We are very well-located: between the town and the seaside, a 30 minutes walk from the city center and 20 minutes from the nearest enchanting beach, but you'll have your own bike.
During days-off moving around will be easy as all the cities on the East Coast are easily reachable by bus: Noto (30 km), Catania (60km), Ragusa (80km) Taormina aso.
Life in Sicily is generally cheap and very affordable.
You can have a good Arancino, a bottle of water and an italian coffee for less than 5€, almost anywhere.

He is a nice, interesting, cool guy willing to help.
He was our first real workawayer and the experience with him was positive and enriching.
He will always be welcome here with us :)
