… read more grandfather, his hard working tenacity, his everyday lifestyle choices reflecting harmony with nature, his commitment to self growth. matti is an authentic person, with great communication, a good sense of humor, and facilitated a peaceful & comfortable environment making me feel very at home. everyday was different and the work we did was interesting to me. he was very helpful from the time i arrived, until the time i departed
the town varraze is really lovely, & easy to walk to by foot; matti was a spectacular host, showing me parts of the town, the local Saturday market, along with introducing me to some of his friends. his visions for the future are abundant and filled with beautiful ways of bringing people together, providing healing through different modalities, and providing real food that nourishes the deep body. he is an incredible & creative chef, i am inspired to (attempt to) recreate the dishes!! it felt really beautiful to eat from the land he has been stewarding for many years. i look forward to visiting again, grazie mattie! :)Esta pessoa escolheu manter o perfil privado, mas você pode entrar em contato a respeito de comentários deixados por outros workawayers.
Having Marie here was a great help for my farm, she did everything with care and passion. I'm sure she could give her support in many different project and situations. Good attitude and problem solving are something in her knowledge. She always carry a good vibes and that's great, keep like that!!!

I am very grateful for living my first Workaway with Mattia. The farm has a wonderful view and the city/sea of Varazze is very nice. I felt very welcomed from the begining. We shared a lot together and especially delicious typical food such as focaccia, gnocchi, pizza and of course fresh tomatoes and figues from the garden.

… read more was also a pleasure, there are many different tasks to do, to take care of the land and get it organized. The work is not difficult as long as you avoid the heat, and will be rythmed by some "tranquilla".
I will for sure remember many things Mattia teached me, about sustainable growing but also about life in general! I wish you all the best for all the projects you have!

Having Signe for three weeks was a pleasure, she can look after herself, bring smile and good attitude when around. She help me with different task, some of them quiet intense but she handle really great! She was also able to organize tasks by herself and solve the task in the end of the day. Lovely and quiet human with lot of energy and curiosity

For me it was great, as I got to pick up many new skills, and take inspiration.Mattia is also very open for your skills to be used and adapt to you as a person. Apart from work we spend a lot of good moments together, some exploring the nearby areas, meeting his friends and a lot of cooking great food enjoying his beatiful land!

We didn't share much time together because he had taken a job that consumed most of his day and because he was in other meetings. Some deep reflections in moments of crossings in the house. In the human relationship I could say that we had our good encounters and also our disagreements.
In the village I could enjoy the beach because it is about a 15min walk from his house and the train station is also very close!
