We are a family with 2 children, Mattia 9 years old and Andrea 7 years old. We live in an apartment in the historical center of the city of Catania.
We only accept Long Workawayer!! ( at least 3 Weeks)
We are looking a person , adult and responsible (not too young) with experience working with children, fluent in English so they can practice and teaching the language with them. . Teaching aptitude is also appreciated.
We need your help a couple of hours to chat with them and help them improve their language skills, or help them with their English homework ,or could help me around the house..every now and then or to take our Chihuahua for a walk near our house 🐕
Two days a week are free
we will choose together which ones
It is important that you speak English very well , because my priority now is for my children to learn English .

We are an open-minded family, busy with the routine of work and children, and we are looking for a person with experience in teaching with good English, who can be empathetic to improve our children's English through games and activities with a fun method (given the young age of the children) that helps them improve their English. Mattia is 9 years old, good English but needs to work more on writing and practice grammar... so we could organize a real lesson with him who is older.... Andrea is 7 years old for his age his English is good, but he needs to gain confidence, and improve we should study something suitable for his age that is not boring.

We live in an apartment in the center
we are neither close to the beach nor to nature...but we are in the most chaotic center of the city...so if you are looking for greenery it is not the place for you 🫣😁. Meals are included and you will have the kitchen at your disposal and the pantry always full to cook what you prefer...✔️I will not prepare meals but you will have everything you need to think about it yourself, there is also a personal fridge in your room✔️

then you will have the opportunity to explore and immerse yourself in Sicilian culture.
I can recommend the most beautiful places to visit, joining social groups and giving you advice for your trips out of town
. We live in the most central area of the city, under our balconies you will find the historic market of the city every morning with fruit, meat, fish and fresh vegetables ... a few steps from our apartment the shopping street, bars, bookshops and typical restaurants . We are connected with metro and bus stops right under the house to move around and also visit the nearby villages.
The Workawayer's room is very large ... has beautiful frescoes on the very high ceilings ... Two private balconies matrimonial beds ,free WiFi connection, desk.

Catania offers so much fun and there is so much to do every day and week. Plus, you can visit other cities in your free time or sign up for any type of course you like, from languages to cooking classes or art classes. There are lots of activities for foreigners to do too.
Our apartment is located right in the center and in addition to seeing great art of the city by walking ... it is well connected by buses, metro and trains ... so explore other cities of Sicily (Taormina, Syracuse, Etna, Acicastello, Acitrezza and many others ...) in your free time it will be really simple.
