Hi, I’m Simon,

Please only write to me if you are in the West Indies already, or comping here in the next week or 2.

Im in le Marin , Martinique, now, will sail south to Trinidad and Tobago soon, looking for a crew member to help with the sailing and a small amount of work onboard.

Usually We work only 2-3 hours a day, and share food cost as is normal when crewing a yacht. its pretty relaxed.

Ive had about 60 people come and help me on Work Away over the last few years (Mainly on my house), its good fun.
2 days off per week. Best to bring your own sheets, I have blankets.

I’m from New Zealand, have a commercial captains liscene and will be visiting islands for the next few months, then coming back again in November

going ashore in spain is awesome, beautiful little ports , and often really good food..

mainly doing maintenance, cleaning and organizing stuff, im getting ready for a trans Atlantic crossing, so a fair bit of work around that, but we never work full days... unless we are sailing, in which case we work whenever.

10m Meter yacht, there is a saloon with 2 berths which are crew acoom, so you dont have your own cabin, but they are good size berths.

Lisa was the perfect guest, we worked together on my house with a Slovenian guy, and got lots done, she is very conscientious and a great help, and as we took turns cooking the meals we discovered she is very good at cooking too..

Is a very easy person to have as crew, no problems with her at all, always able to do what ever jobs was asked, and although she had limited sailing experience before joining, she proved to be good and reliable, and able to steer the boat well. She is a very relaxed and easy going person.
