  Hi! My name is Nicky, a 31-year-old Dutch entrepreneur who embarked on a new adventure in 2020. I proudly present to you a heavenly oasis nestled in the lush green valley of Garfagnana, Tuscany where I have created a luxurious glamping and camping destination. But what sets us apart is the perfect combination of high-quality glamping and camping experiences with an authentic farm setting, complete with adorable animals. The focus is on the Dutch market, which means that 90% of the guests come from the Netherlands. Beside the glamping and camping there is also a very cosy loungebar and a good restaurant on the property. I live at this idyllic location next to the river the Serchio together with my sheep, horses, dogs, cats and chickens.

  I can share with you my vision on running a business and taking care of animals and how I combine these two as a Agriturismo. I can tell you everything about running a camping and glamping, the life in Italy and my vision on ''living your work''. Additionally, I can learn you some Dutch.
  
  The Garfagnana is a green area not yet discovered by tourists. You will feel completely at home here if you love nature, animals, hiking and swimming in the river.
  
  Our location is a 5-10 minute walk from the train station which gives you the opportunity to visit cities such as Lucca, Pisa and Florence. The village center of Camporgiano is about a 15 minute walk away. There you will find several bars, restaurants and a supermarket.
  
  During the summer there are many cultural activities in the area that are definitely worth a visit.

  We think it is very important that we have a team we can count on. We have a young team in the age category 25-35 years. We try to put together a nice team every year with people who fit together so that a nice community is created :-)

  Open vacancies for the 2026 season:
  
  Housekeeping
  You ensure that our guests enjoy a clean environment and accommodation. With this active job you no longer need the gym ;-)
  
  Period: April 2026 - September 2026. Shorter period is NOT possible.
  Hours: around 30 hours per week, but the amount of hours really depend on how busy it is so this will vary every week. You will work fewer hours in low season and more hours in high season.
  Good to know: this is a physically demanding job, so a good physical condition is required. In summer it's hot and the accommodations must be clean on time. You will work together with our cleaning team.

  I hope you haven't dropped out yet because now comes the fun part of a workaway with me :-) Besides the work there is plenty of time to explore the area, relax by the river or make a beautiful hike. You can use all facilities (if available) and there is a lot of room for flexibility (if the work allows this) if you want to get away for a few days for example.
  
  In addition to the help we receive from workawayers, we also employ a few permanent local employees who help us in the garden and in the restaurant.

  Acomodação

  We have a brilliant place where all workawayers can stay. Place your own camping equipment there or use one of our caravans or tents in the middle of the forest (but close to the campsite). A wonderful place to sit together, have diner and listen or make music because no one will bother you. There is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and sanitary unit with a toilet, sink, hot shower and washing machine.

  Our location is situated in the green Garfagnana valley. You can easily visit Lucca, Pisa and Florence by train. The train station is within walking distance from our site. There are endless hiking and mountain biking trails nearby. With sufficient experience you can help with riding the horses.
