We are a Five-people-Family. Peppino, Simona and three kids (9, 6 and 2 years old). We bought a house at the coast of Calabria , South Italy and we are hosting events all around personal development, inner growth, holistic Theater and many other things. We are still in the completion of our house so that we can host also bigger events and longer retreats so that is the main project right now. Be a family, support the kids and each other in our hobbies and creative projects and see that we build up furniture, paint our house. We have supporters, like workers from outside, but many things we do ourselves as well. In plan is also a mosaic project for the balcony, we also cultivate a little garden and we have also a lot of energy, but we see having also three kids plus work we see many times there are hands missing in our small community.
As people we love art, music and play. Peppino plays the drums (also people who like to play music are very welcome to join with this :-)) Simona Is an actress and always having creative ideas for small video-projects creating small courses with the things she knows.

We are speaking German, English and Italian in the house so already the language might be interesting for you to learn. We are living in a very beautiful area by the sea with a house in nature facing the sea. If you like the beach and nature itself this is already a big exchange. We are quite open-minded people and working online and offline all around the topic of integrated Medicine, shamanism and emotional work (Peppino is working as a doctor in the place and Simona is working as a pre-Birth Consultant)
We grow our kids consciously following a line of respect and deep listening. We feel growing WITH the kids more than growing THEM gives us a big chance understanding life deeper and also enjoying it more in togetherness and democracy.

We need open-hearted people to support us in works in and outside the house, inside the family and also independently from it. sometimes it might be that we need you for setting up a room for an event, sometimes we might need support with the kids if one child goes to a sport and another likes to stay home or is asleep. We are very happy if you bring skills around building, carpeting, gardening etc. so that you can also help in these areas, but it is not a must. It is an all-around support we are looking for.
One day it might be helping in the kitchen, one day being with the kids and one day building up shelves or carry wood.

We live in a quite big house and our Workawayers will have their rooms in the Basefloor, that has big glass windows and access to the garden, with your own bathroom and little kitchen. The space itself can host also more than one person. It was a kindergarden-space in the past, so it is cozy all under the theme of colour and play.
from there you just need to go up the stairs inside and you are in the common living room and space where we live.

for time off there are restaurants and bars, there is a lot of nature (just check out San Nicola Arcella on google and you will grasp a glimpse of the beauty of this area) , public transport is possible to move out from this place let's say. inside the village it makes sense to have a license, but inside the place it is always possible to walk, we live 20 minutes walk from the center of the town.

In summary, we would like to have pur guests join the family Italian-style like an Auntie or Uncle. Join the Family for the Time you are here, let's get to know each other, be with the kids, bring your creative ideas when you have , bring your skills,

it is very important for us to be transparent in communication and needs. We always share , if anything is not working. If you have a feedback or something needs to be adjusted in our commitment with us, please speak up. Let´s communicate so everybody can feel at ease about being together and co-creating.

We would like two schedule a minimum the week in advance , also with you so as well you as us know our timings and tasks, Still live is colourful and unforeseen, we always keep a certain flow and flexibility in what we do.

As we have three kids, please come and join only when you also like to be with them, because we are all kind of one organism being together, spending a lot of time together and co-creating. Our kids love to meet new people so also there they will be happy too meet you.

Ah, yes. We are German - Italian - family. The adults speak with each other in English (we met in English so it is comfortable to stay with it and like this also the kids hear the language regularly) and the kids speak Italian and German. for now ;-)

We have a parking area in front of the house which is still our property. You will have access to the downstair apartment in any time and can use it as an extra so to say.
