  Hello! I'm Patri, and I am very excited to share a little about myself and my family so you can get to know me better. I live in Reus, a charming city in Catalonia, famous for its stunning Modernist architecture and welcoming atmosphere. What I love most about Reus is its perfect blend of history, culture, and nature. Additionally, the nearby coastal area with beautiful beaches and picturesque towns is an ideal place to enjoy the sea and relax with family. I'm sure you will love it too!
  
  In my family, there are four of us: I have two wonderful children, aged 4 and 9. They are very friendly, fun, and kind children who love learning new things and playing together. The idea is for the au pair to become like a part of the family, helping out and sharing special moments with them. You will also have the chance to meet other people in the community and experience the local culture in an authentic and warm way.

  Hola! Soy Patri, y estoy muy emocionada de compartir un poquito sobre mí y mi familia para que puedan conocerme mejor. Vivo en Reus, una ciudad encantadora en Cataluña, famosa por su impresionante arquitectura modernista y su ambiente acogedor. Lo que más me gusta de Reus es su mezcla perfecta entre historia, cultura y naturaleza. Además, la zona costera cercana, con playas hermosas y pueblos pintorescos, es un lugar ideal para disfrutar del mar y relajarse en familia. ¡Estoy segura de que a ustedes también les encantará!
  
  En mi familia, somos cuatro: tengo dos hijos maravillosos, de 4 y 9 años. Son niños muy amigables, divertidos y buenos, y les encanta aprender cosas nuevas y jugar juntos. La idea es que la au pair sea como una parte más de la familia, ayudando y compartiendo momentos especiales con ellos. También conocerán a otras personas en la comunidad, y podrán experimentar la cultura local de una manera auténtica y cálida.

  We live in a culturally rich country, a modernist city with a very commercial atmosphere, Reus. Nearby is the Roman city of Tarragona, approximately 15 km away, Barcelona, ​​100 km away, and the tourist city of Salou, 10 km away.
  Reus's traditional festivals are held during these times.
  We can sample the country's typical dishes (ham, potato omelette, gazpacho, sangria, etc.).
  As a mother, I would love for my children to meet people from other countries and thus better understand other customs and, above all, make themselves understood in another language.
  I am committed to dedicating time to the au pair learning our language and trying to help them learn as much as possible.
  
  Estamos en un país de gran riqueza cultural, dónde vivimos, una ciudad modernista y muy comercial Reus, cerca tenemos una ciudad romana, Tarragona aprox 15 Km, a 100 Km tenemos Barcelona que está a 100 Km i a 10 Km tenemos la ciudad turística de Salou.
  Justo en esas épocas son las fiestas tradicionales de Reus.
  Podemos degustar los platos típicos del País. (jamón, tortilla de patata, gazpacho, sangría…)
  Me encantaría como madre, que mis hijos conocieran a gente de otros países y así entender mejor otras costumbres y sobre todo hacerse entender en otro idioma.
  Yo me comprometo a dedicarle tiempo al au pair a conocer nuestro idioma e intentar que aprenda lo máximo posible.

  It will basically involve spending time with the children while we're at work.
  When the children wake up, we'll give them breakfast, do a little homework with them, play (we have a pool), heat up their lunch, and feed them. We welcome suggestions from the au pair; they can go shopping, to the park, etc.
  
  Será básicamente estar con los niños, mientras nosotros estamos trabajando.
  cuando los niños se despierten, darles el desayuno, hacer un poquito de deberes con ellos, jugar, tenemos piscina, calentar la comida y darles de comer. Aceptamos sugerencias por parte del au pair, pueden ir a comprar, al parque...

  Acomodação

  We live in a semi-detached house, and the au pair will have their own room.
  The house is clean and tidy; we have a cleaning lady every week.
  There will be Wi-Fi.
  We have a pool, air conditioning, and ceiling fans, which help with the heat.
  For breakfast, they can eat whatever they want from the fridge. I'll leave lunch ready and just heat it up. We'll prepare dinner at night. There's always food in the fridge if they fancy something between meals or want to cook something to their liking.
  
  Nosotros vivimos en una casa apareada y el au pair tendrá habitación propia.
  la casa está limpia y ordenada, tenemos una mujer de la limpieza, cada semana.
  tendrá wifi.
  Tenemos piscina, aire acondicionado y ventiladores de techo, que ayudan a superar el calor.
  El desayuno comerán lo que quieran de la nevera, la comida la dejaré preparada y sólo se tendrá que calentar, la cena la prepararemos por la noche, siempre habrá comida en la nevera, por si le apetece entre horas, o le apetece cocinar algo a su gusto.
