  I am a filmmaker working between the U.S. and France, currently living in the countryside in Gers near Lectoure. I grew up in South America and Asia, speak multiple languages and am interested in film, photography, languages, hiking, qi gong, literature, poetry, cooking, and music.
  
  This is a rural area of hills, open fields, and lots of wildlife (chevreuils, foxes, birds). You would mainly be helping me out in the house and barn, and also planting flower seeds and bulbs and doing some cooking. It is also possible to join us for qi gong sessions if you want. I don't smoke and don't eat red meat, but otherwise open to all kinds of international cooking.
  
  This is a large house with big open fields around and walking trails. It is located about 20 minutes drive from Lectoure., and a few minutes from lakes and parks.
  
  The house has a downstairs bedroom which you would have to yourself where you can stay comfortably and have your privacy.

  I'm a fluent French and English speaker and also speak Italian and some Spanish and am glad to help if you want to work on these languages – I'm happy to share and discuss my film work. You can also join in morning chi gong practice if interested. The farm is about 1 kilometer from a small lively village and there are several other beautiful villages nearby with street markets, galleries, festivals and music.

  Ajuda

  Most of the house is restored but there are still parts of the house to paint and update - I'm looking for help with planting flowers, painting the shutters, cooking, cleaning, doing the shopping at local markets, and helping to organize cameras and editing equipment for the film courses I teach. If you’re interested please specify what experience and skills you have, and what other jobs you have done. It’s a non-smoking house and I am fully vaccinated.

  You will have access to the swimming pool and can easily explore festivals, markets, and organic farms and vineyards in the surrounding villages in Gers. There are many biking and hiking trails nearby, including the St Jacques de Compostelle.
