Welcome - amongst 7 hectares of native trees close to the river and ocean.
The property is only 15kms south of Geraldton but having your own vehicle would be a bonus.
My name is Max I am 53and I share this tranquil place with my two beautiful kids Ruby 10 and Banjo 8 who both love having travellers stay with us.
You would be staying in the main home or the two storey self contained loft adjoining the workshop.
Jobs include gardening, feeding the animals, maintaining the aquaponics, building and cooking.
Time off may be spent swimming, fishing, surfing, quadding or just hanging in the hammock.
Work hours are between 4 - 5 hours / day 5 days a week but this is flexible depending on weather and leisure activities.
The block has been an evolving project for the past 30 years with a healthy self-sustainable lifestyle being the main focus.

I can teach them alternative vegie and fruit growing techniques, furniture and carpentry skills and self sustainable living.
I have also helped many travellers improve their English.
Many travellers have caught their first fish whilst staying with me.
Plus they can get a look at how a sheep and wheat farm is run with my brother next door.

It was really nice having Eva and her cute daughter Lea stay with us.
Eva was happy enough to sort out all of the domestic duties and is a great cook especially her lentils.
She also helped with getting the aquaponics up and running to give us some more fresh veggies.
All in all I would highly recommend her as a great help around the place.

Clara was a great help during her short stay with us and a pleasure to have around.
She has a real flare for art and design and was able to put that to good use building a limestone wall at my beach cottage.
My 11 and 9 year old kids really took a shine to her and was looking after them when needed

I have had the privilege of accommodating Seb for about a month on my block .
He has been a great help on many projects around the place but I think his biggest strength is his fantastic interaction with my 10 and 8 year old children.
