  Hi there! :-) We are a family of four: Jane, George, John (4 YO) + 1 dog named Fox. We live in a small village 25km from the historical city of Olomouc, where we grew up and lived until adulthood. We took part in building of our house and we started our permacultural garden on a green field. We spent many years improving our home, but we're still far from finished and some bigger projects are continually being postponed. We are not only looking for manpower but also for company. :-) We love meeting new people and listening to their life stories.

  Experience rural life in proximity of a city. Try permacultural gardening and explore beautiful nature all around. Workawayers are welcome to join us in our activities (trips, barbecues, evening chats, etc.) We are very happy to have people around, we have some knowledge of permaculture.

  Ajuda

  Depending on your skill and preferences, we would appreciate help with some of the following taks: various smaller tasks around the garden depending on the season, fruit picking and processing, pruning, mowing, building a compost, improving outdoor fireplace, help inside the house if you like (cooking, windows cleaning), child sitting, dog walking,...
  I (Jane) like working with our workawayers whenever I can to enjoy their company. :-) We always try to look for tasks that workawayers prefer and enjoy doing, no forced labour. :-)

  You will live in your own almost fully equipped heated cottage located on our property. Washing machine and fridge are in our house and are free to use.:-)

  Historical city Šternberk with a newly build aquapark and all the facilities is 5km away (bus connection). Historical city Olomouc is 25km away (bus or train connection). Beautiful location between the lowlands of Haná region and Jeseník mountains, many options for hiking, possibility to borrow a bike. We could pick you up in Olomouc, which is only 2,5 hours by train from Prague.

  George works on home office regularly (he works in IT so he needs internet access all the time). Occasionally there are short-term problems with the signal but in overall it works fine. :-)

  Space for a van is quite big, not completely leveled yet but it should do. There is an outdoor socket available.

  Some smaller pets might be ok, but we have a dog so it might be complicated. Feel free to ask, we'll try to find a way. :-)
