  Since we operate as a small, family-run farmstay, there are no paid staff involved. Everything here is taken care of by our family. My father helps out with all the daily farm tasks—planting, harvesting, feeding the chickens, and keeping the place running smoothly. My mother looks after the guest areas and prepares delicious home-cooked meals, especially traditional Thai dishes. We all do tasks together as a team to take care of both the land and everyone who stays with us
  
  Farmstay is located in Ban Tap Tao, Nam Kham Yai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Yasothon Province. It is a farmstay that focuses on organic farming and agricultural tourism, giving tourists and those interested the opportunity to experience the farmer's way of life and sustainable agriculture. Our farmstay has been recognized for its sustainability, having received the 5-star STGs STAR award by passing 14 out of 17 Sustainable Tourism Goals. We have also received a visit from the Governor of Yasothon and his team to promote agricultural tourism in the area. We welcome Workawayers who are interested in joining various activities on the farm, whether it's growing vegetables, rice farming, raising animals, or cooking local food. There is also an opportunity to learn about managing a farmstay and sustainable agricultural tourism. Joining us will give you a real experience of the rural way of life in Yasothon.

  You will get to live and learn alongside the local villagers. We are Thai farmers living a simple life, and travelers will experience an authentic local lifestyle by helping in the garden, growing organic vegetables, or practicing sustainable rice farming without any chemicals. This is truly our way of life because we believe it is better for the planet and our health. You may also help raise chickens and ducks, gaining firsthand experience of what it means to be a real farmer in daily life. Beyond agriculture, living with neighbors and assisting in village activities will give you a much deeper understanding of Thai culture than typical travel experiences.
  
  Our farm is not near famous tourist destinations. If you're looking for places like Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Pai, or Chiang Mai—full of tourists, backpackers, and parties—you won’t find that here. This place is peaceful and entirely rooted in the local way of life. Most of our neighbors are farmers, and you will rarely see foreign tourists. We want to be upfront: if you enjoy lively tourist spots, you might find this place too quiet. But if you love a simple life, want to spend time in a peaceful natural environment, and truly connect with and help alongside the locals, you are always welcome here.

  🌾 Welcome to the Farmstay
  
  The Farmstay is a small, family-run farm in Yasothon, northeastern Thailand. We don’t have fancy things—just an honest way of life, surrounded by fields, chickens, dogs, and the laughts.
  
  We're not offering a perfect rural escape. We're inviting you to help us build it.
  
  🏡 Life on the Farm
  We live simply. No air-conditioning. Yes, it gets hot. There are insects. If you’re allergic to bugs or need modern comforts to feel safe and happy, this may not be the place for you.
  
  But if you enjoy the sound of frogs at night, a breeze through banana trees, and sharing moments together, you will love it here.
  
  We have a homey vegetable garden and plants to take care of in daily life. But if you are looking for RICE FARMING EXPERIENCE, you must visit us only in June. After that we will let the rice grow itself untill harvest time in November. SO! please ask us in advance about the season you’ll be visiting. However, we love keeping our hand busy and learning by doing. Which means we have many projects is going on such as :
  
  A red ant egg collection zone (yes, ant eggs!)
  
  A small vineyard
  
  A seedling nursery
  
  A chicken coop over fish pond
  
  🍚 Food: Cook Together, Eat Together
  We don’t have a chef, but we eat together often. And you are always invited! If you’re interested to learn Thai cooking, we can share it. And if you can share your tradition food, we would love try them!
  We provide local ingredients, mostly from our farm—fresh veggies, rice and herbs, that you can prepare your own meals in our
  kitchen. Otherwise, we are more than happy to give you a ride to get what you want but you must take response on the spend.
  
  🛏️ Accommodation
  Our rooms are basic, clean, and made out of wood. No air-con, just fans and mosquito nets. It's very breezy in the morning and night.
  REMINDER; we are in the nature. There will be heat. There will be some bugs.
  
  🧠 Language
  We speak Thai and very limited English. We use Google Translate, and a lot of body language to comunicate. We would love to get to know you and thriving to share our story! So, please be patience with us.
  
  🕒 What to Expect Daily
  Our days begin with the sun.
  We work when it’s not too hot, usually 3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the late afternoon.
  Some days are for resting. Some days are for community events or charity.
  Every week is different—no schedule is set.
  
  💬 Safety & Health
  We treat everyone like family, Meaning that we have a strong concern and care if there anything happend. So, please take care of yourself and know your limit, stay hydrate and beware of heat.
  We are welcome everyone here but if you have allergies or chronic conditions or luxury lifestyle, we do not recommend you to be here.
  
  👫 Come with Heart
  We expect volunteers who come with passion of farming and turn our empty fields into the potential garden. Please please please share with us if you have any idea or tips to make our home better. But there is no specific skills expected — just bring your curiosity and openmind!

  This is a farmstay and homestay accommodation. It features an ancient Thai wooden house amidst beautiful nature. The accommodation can accommodate approximately 10-20 people and has a large terrace that is suitable for organizing various activities such as parties, Isan weddings, and field trips. In addition to accommodation, the farmstay also offers a variety of agricultural tourism activities such as growing vegetables, rice farming, raising animals, casting nets, fishing, rowing boats in the middle of fish ponds and rice fields, as well as cooking Isan food using ingredients from the farm. Guests will experience the true rural lifestyle of Yasothon.
  
  
  นาจันทร์สว่าง ฟาร์มสเตย์ ยโสธร เป็นสถานที่พักที่ให้บริการที่พักแบบฟาร์มสเตย์และโฮมสเตย์ โดยมีบ้านไม้ไทยโบราณที่ตั้งอยู่ท่ามกลางธรรมชาติอันงดงาม ที่พักสามารถรองรับผู้เข้าพักได้ประมาณ 10-20 คน และมีชานเรือนขนาดใหญ่ที่เหมาะสำหรับการจัดกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ เช่น งานเลี้ยง งานแต่งงานแบบอีสาน และการศึกษาดูงาน
