  Hi! I’m Cesar, a 28-year-old Peruvian and the founder of the hotel.
  
  After spending several years living in Germany, I returned to Peru with the dream of creating a place where people from all over the world could connect, relax, and experience authentic Peruvian hospitality. Two years ago, that dream became reality when I opened the hotel.
  
  I love meeting people from different cultures and sharing my own. I speak Spanish, English, German, Portuguese, and Italian, so communication is usually easy, no matter where you’re from.
  
  This is a family-run hotel, and together we’re continuously improving and expanding it. We also work with wonderful local staff, including team members from Peru and Colombia, who will be happy to welcome you and introduce you to our daily life, traditions, and cuisine.
  
  What I love most about this place is its peaceful atmosphere. We’re located right on the beach in a small, authentic coastal village where tourism is still very limited. Here, you’ll experience the real Peru: friendly neighbors, fresh local food, breathtaking sunsets, and the simple rhythm of life by the ocean.

  For us, hosting is much more than exchanging work for accommodation; it’s about sharing cultures, experiences, and creating meaningful connections.
  
  By staying at the hotel, you’ll experience everyday life in a small Peruvian coastal village where tourism is still very limited. This is a chance to discover the authentic side of Peru, meet local people, and become part of our community rather than just passing through as a tourist.
  
  You’ll share meals with us, get to know our family and local team, and experience Peruvian traditions, music, food, and daily life. If you’re interested, we’ll happily teach you how to prepare traditional Peruvian dishes, improve your Spanish, and introduce you to local customs and hidden places around the area.
  
  During your free time, you can enjoy the beach just outside the hotel, swim in the Pacific Ocean, watch incredible sunsets, explore nearby fishing villages, or simply relax and enjoy the slower pace of life.
  
  We also love learning from our volunteers. Every person who visits brings new ideas, skills, languages, recipes, and perspectives, and that’s one of the reasons we enjoy hosting people from around the world. Whether you’re teaching us something from your culture, cooking a favorite meal from your country, or simply sharing stories over dinner, we believe cultural exchange goes both ways.
  
  Our goal is that you leave not only with unforgettable memories of Peru but also feeling like you’ve become part of our family.

  The Kind of Help We’d Love
  
  As the hotel continues to grow, we’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and positive people who enjoy being part of a hands-on project.
  
  Your tasks may vary depending on the season and current projects, but they can include:
  
  * Painting and light renovation tasks
  * Gardening and caring for tropical plants
  * Keeping the pool and outdoor areas clean and welcoming
  * General hotel maintenance and organization
  * Helping with housekeeping when needed
  * Supporting small creative projects around the hotel
  
  You don’t need professional experience for any of these tasks. A willingness to learn, a good attitude, and enjoying teamwork are much more important.
  
  You’ll often help alongside me, my family, and our local team, so this is a very collaborative experience rather than working alone. We love exchanging ideas and learning from our volunteers just as much as sharing our own knowledge.
  
  If you’re interested, we’re happy to teach you about Peruvian cuisine, local traditions, and what it’s like to run a small family hotel. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to practice Spanish, learn about the local culture, and connect with the people in our village.
  
  We’re looking for people who are respectful, open-minded, proactive, and excited to contribute while enjoying an authentic cultural exchange.

  You’ll stay in a shared room with other Workawayers and have access to a shared bathroom. We provide clean bedding, a safe and comfortable place to stay, and all the basic amenities you need to feel comfortable.
  
  On working days, you’ll enjoy a homemade Peruvian breakfast and lunch and dinner freshly prepared by our local team. This is a great opportunity to experience authentic Peruvian cuisine and share meals with our staff.

  We want every Workawayer to feel at home and become part of the family. We value kindness, respect, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
  
  We’ll provide you with a Hotel T-shirt to wear while volunteering. We recommend bringing comfortable work clothes, swimwear, sunscreen, a hat, and a warm sweater or jacket, as it can get windy and cool in the evenings.
  
  The hotel is located directly on the beach, so you’ll have the Pacific Ocean right at your doorstep. During your free time, you can swim, relax on the beach, go surfing, enjoy incredible sunsets, or during the season even go whale watching, as whales can be spotted along the coast.
  
  If you enjoy exploring, there are many beautiful, untouched beaches nearby that can be reached by quad bike, and we’re happy to lend you one. You can also borrow our kayak or bicycle to discover the coastline and surrounding nature at your own pace.
  
  The nearby town of Huarmey has supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, and a lively atmosphere, making it a great place to spend an afternoon or evening. On weekends, if you’d like to discover even more of Peru, you can also travel to the nearby mountains and experience the country’s incredible variety of landscapes.

  We welcome digital nomads! We have Wi-Fi available at the hotel, and many volunteers combine their online work with helping us. We simply ask that your work schedule fits around the agreed volunteering hours and that you communicate with us in advance. Outside of volunteering, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the beach, explore the area, or work remotely in a peaceful seaside environment.
