Hello Workawayers!
My name is Vincenzo and I live in a farmhouse in the countryside of Bagheria, a few minutes from Palermo in Sicily. My house has a wonderful olive grove overlooking the sea and a small orchard.
I am a chef, local olive harvester, and a frequent traveler in the past.
My house is a happy house and I often organize small gatherings with friends. I love animals and there are 4 cats and 2 dogs living in my house.
*No workaway guest will engage in sales of any service or product. -

🚨 URGENT: House & Pet Sitter Needed – 20 July to 10 August
I'm urgently looking for a responsible Workawayer to house sit my home and take care of my dogs and cats from 20 July to 10 August. It would be ideal if you could arrive a few days earlier so I can show you around and explain how everything works before I leave.
In exchange, I offer comfortable accommodation in a bright, well-ventilated house surrounded by the sea and kind animals.
What's needed:
Feeding and caring for the dogs and cats daily
General house-keeping while I'm away
Being independent and reliable

I also welcome Workawayers throughout the year for two other properties:
1. Housesitting at Bellacera (country house)
Period: January–July & September–December
Looking for a responsible person to feed the animals and help with light house maintenance (painting, general upkeep, wood collection, light garden work).
⚠️ Please only apply for this listing if you hold a driving license and are comfortable driving — you'll need to be independent while house/pet sitting.
2. Housesitting at Accia (country house)
Light house maintenance, plus harvesting fruit and vegetables from the property.
This is a great opportunity for a local cultural experience — including cooking Italian dishes together!
Accommodation, meals, and a warm, authentic experience included for both.
3 - House & Companionship Support in Palermo (city center)
I am looking for a trustworthy and serious person, preferably a woman with experience in caregiving or nursing, to stay in a large house in the center of Palermo and provide a reassuring presence for a woman living there.
The person I am looking for support has full autonomy (she can manage daily tasks such as going to the bathroom, etc.). However, it is important to have someone present in the house at night, as a caring and reassuring presence.
In exchange, I offer free accommodation in a beautiful, spacious house in the heart of Palermo, a great opportunity to live in the city while providing this support. -
