This is my best workaway experience ever. Sandra and her families are all warm and welcoming. Wil is also a nice town and beautiful vineyards. I really enjoyed spending with her wonderful families and lovely cats, a dog, rabbits, although I couldn't speak German. My task is very simple and I had a plenty of time to travel near Zurich. He was a very helpful and friendly guy. Great sense of what is necessary to do a good job in the vineyard. Eventhough he was here for a week only it was a great pleasure for us to have him here and hope to see him again some day helping us in the vineyard.

Just coming back after one week in Sandra's Family for my first work away experience. It was unbelievable. This is a lovely, generous, with a great hospitality family. A country with astonishing landscape and cities. All was perfect. Thank you again.

Sorry for being so late giving you our feedback. It was a great pleasure for us having her here for some weeks. She perfectly took care of our animals. We spent almost one month with this big friendly and hospitable family, we enjoyed wine, vineyards and Switzerland nature! Thank you so much.
We worked in vineyards in June when the grape just started to ripe. We obtain awesome experience and felt in love with Swiss wine :)

… read more asking for him since he is gone. He was interested in learning German where he made good progress during the 3 months. In his last weeks he was able to communicate with our children in German.

… read more taught and I kept on trying to look after a grape tree. Then, a field of them. With precision and perseverance, like my good boss and my host’s father - Mr Baumann does. An occasional sweat and backache were all well compensated by spectacular mountain views, simple life measured out by a church tower bell, weekend cross country cycling and always pleasant encounters.
And of course there was a crazy stuff going on too... e.g. chasing after wild hogs, using a chainsaw, horse riding, getting lost in translation or a midnight caterpillar hunt. Or apéros :-)
Yes, I do agree with Ann - count yourself lucky if visiting this piece of paradise on Earth.

Ann helped our parents 5 weeks in the vinyard and looked after our dog Cooper while we were on holidays. She is a very helpful person and combined with her amiable nature everyone was happy to spend some time with her.
The 5 weeks flew by and no one wanted to say good-bye ... especially Cooper.

I was treated like a part of family from day one, learned about wineyard work and had fantastic day trips on mountains as well.
