Like everyone else here, had a great time :) Everyone is hardworking and you can tell they really care about the kids they work with. I was only here for 2/3 weeks but such a great experience in a beautiful location with a relaxed environment.
Also good hours and time for trips to the lake etc :)

Bianca kept the facilities spotless and the kitchen buzzing with, cooking for up to 70 people with the Tuscany touch, pulling it off like it was no big deal. Sometimes with fresh reggaeton tunes or Italian classics, sometimes with stoic calm when Seb tries to play ship captain again or when it comes to integrating even the flashiest characters into the team. Even though joining kids’ activities wasn’t part of her official line up, she was right there anyway, bringing her signature fun and adding something special to every moment. She’s mastered the balance between “let’s get it done” and “let’s have a good time”— and it’s safe to say camp just wouldn’t be camp without her. „Magari“ and grazie mille for everything. Needless to say you always have a spot and see you again in just a few weeks for our 2025 Ski Camp edition :)

… read more experice not only left me longlasting friendships and beautiful memories but also helped me grow on a personal level, and I am very thankful for it.
All in all, it was the best workaway experience I have ever done. I definitely reccomend reaching out if you love being immersed in a stimulating multicultural environment and enjoy working with kids. I spent 4 weeks here as an English teacher and helping out with animation, working with lovely kids and beautiful coworkers everyday. The whole team here work so hard to put together a special experience for the kids every camp and give them 6 amazing days which is a privilege to take part in. On top of teaching hours there was always opportunity
… read more to join in on excursions such as bowling, go-karting, laser skirmish, museum visits, nature walks, second hand shopping, etc. Teaching was always great, classes of no more than 6 kids and pretty much full creative control goes to the teachers regarding how they want their classes to look. The leadership team really put emphasis on this and you can tell that they trust the people they hire to align with the camp philosophy and they expect you to work hard to give the kids an experience which makes them fall in love with language learning in a classroom environment which is very different and hopefully much better than what they’re used to at school. I often got to use some more unconventional teaching methods and got to really individualise the classes to the students which was something I’m not used to in teaching so this was a genuine pleasure. The food was always A+ thanks to a great kitchen team and Seb’s extra catering for some late night snacks. Plenty of chance to socialise and mix with a group of interesting and king hearted people who have plenty of love to give and make your time spent in Monterêt feel like a family getaway. The location is fucking amazing, I’ll never get used to the view and the access to forest all around and breathtaking scenery from your bedroom window is something I will never forget. Accomodation was also great, I pretty much got my own room for the duration of camp with a view of Mont Blanc from the bedroom window. Although the location is quite isolated, there’s great train systems which run a 10 minute walk away and give you access to all of Switzerland which is definitely worth seeing.
You can tell this is a passion project, made possible by passionate people who pour their heart and soul into this place. These kinds of camps don’t work without passion and a whole lotta love and the team who I was lucky enough to work with had plenty of it and I’m forever grateful I got to be a part of it. If you’re the type of person who wants to jump head first into something and give 110%, this is the place to do it. I have no doubt I’ll be back one day to jump back in on this roller coaster. Most of the kids were great and too mature for their ages. Participating in the afternoon or evening activities and hanging out with them was something that I wanted to do, not something that I had to do.
And lastly, the house was marvelous. Waking up every day and see the Mont Blanc through the window. We spent four weeks working at camp and it was amazing! As allrounders, we got to do lots of activities and diferent excursions. We got to know Switzerland as it was our own country! The team was fantastic and Seb helped us with everything we needed! We will definitelly come back!!
