Jonas is a very nice and interesting workawayer. Even if he is not use to building works or animal care... He did his duties correctly and joyfully. Always eager to learn, i appreciate a lot his simplicity and his honesty.
I will be happy to see him again.

… read more mistakes and different opinions, from the beginning to the end of the stay, he was very open-minded, and never forced his opinions on me, which i really appreciated. In my time on this Workaway, i learned a lot of new stuff, from cooking over blacksmithing to even a bit of french, and i enjoyed my time here a lot. I spend a wonderful week at his place. We worked in the mornings for 3 hours and after we spend time together eating and talking.
The place is really nice and calm, I was using his bike to discover the area.
I can recommend this workaway.
I learned a lot from him. Michael is the best history teacher haha.

Michael is a wonderful person, full of life and always dancing and singing, he enjoys everything and makes you feel appreciated while teaching you new things.
The work is pretty easy and consists in helping with the house chores, cleaning the apartment, and helping in the barn or building things, always with a good vibe.

( The road there for the motorbike is fantastic and fun :D )

Jo stayed 5 weeks at the farm and helped me with maintenance, animal care, hostelry, construction,cleanings... He is able to work alone and to take right decisions. Très bonne expérience chez Mickaël.
Côté travail, je n'ai pas pu rester très longtemps, je n'ai donc pas participer au projet de construction.
Par contre Mickaël m'a laissé, un petit studio pour l'hébergement, déco design, cuisine entièrement équipée, salle de bain privée et lit king size avec matelas à mémoire de forme, autant dire le grand luxe

Côté nourriture également, velouté d'asperges, bécon grillé, spaghetti sauce forestière, du grand luxe dans le monde du volontariat.
Et point d'orgue, Michaël ne m'a pas harassé de travail sur le peu que j'ai fais étant de déplacer quelques poteaux de clôture, l'accent est mis sur la culture et l'échange : politique, religion, chasse, chien, missions militaires, les sujets étaient nombreux et intéressant.
Cerise sur le gâteau, Mickaël m'a également déposé en chemin et fait économiser du temps de trajet.
Donc je recommande vivement cette expérience dans les Vosges, à quelques kilomètres des pistes de ski, de Gérardmer, d'Épinal et antouré de sapin. Précipitez-vous il n'y aura pas de place pour tout le monde!

Michael is an open, extroverted, flexible person, with whom we learned a lot of things. The accommodation was unbeatable. We met his lovely family. I learned to renovate an apartment and Ana took care of the animals. Ferran had a great time with the animals. Fedrico et Pilard ont passé un mois à la "ferme des pélicans". Ils se sont intéressés à tout et se sont parfaitement comportés. Je les recommande à quiconque veut leur faire découvrir leur région car ils ont soif de découvrir le monde et ils le font avec une bonne humeur magnifique.
