  Hi, we are a family living nestled between Norways national parks right outside the village of Vågåmo.
  It's me Miriam, my partner Forest and our daughter Ronja. We also have two cats :)
  
  We moved to this land early 2024 and we love the fresh mountain air here. We are in the beginning of cultivating a vegetable garden and also fruit trees and berries bushes, our property is not big and very steep so we have to use all the space that we can. We have a river and waterfall flowing right outside our house.
  
  The forest are bordering our land and the mountantops are closeby.
  
  Our family are sosial and we often have friends coming over. We are used to community living and have also used woraasway wile we traveled ourself !
  
  Apart from the vegetable garden we always have building projects either in the house or outside. At some point we are planning to build a traditional cabin for our guests. We trying to be self sufficient on firewood and that's also an ever ongoing work.

  We are living in north of Gudbrandsdalen, this region is full of mountaiess amazing nature
  , we are surrounded by breathtaking national parks.
  
  I am Norwegian, my husband is Israeli, we might not be the average Norwegian country people. But we are open-minded and active socially creatures.
  
  My name is Miri and I am a nature loving human, we bought this property here on the countryside to have access to all this amazing nature around us, I love to gather berries, herbs and medicinal plants from the land around us. I'm a woodworker and work a few days a week in a furniture-workshop.

  Ajuda

  We are looking for help in
  
  Farming:
  - organic farming(we are in cold climate):
  That would include weeding, watering, planting or in the autumn harvest, storing pickling and canning
  - expanding our vegetable garden:
  building terraces and gardenbeds.
  
  Building:
  -join our ongoing building projects:
  Renovating already existing rooms, build firewood sheds or other structures
  
  - expanding our vegetable garden:

  Coming with us to cut down smaller trees, lift,drag them onto a trailer and cut them and chop them to right size and also stacking them for drying.
  
  cooking:
  If u like to cook it would be nice if we took turns!
  We are eating mainly clean unprocessed and organic foods. We follow a diet of meats, eggs,vegetables, some grains and milk products,we like to focus on fats and protein over carbs and are a big fan of Western Price nutritional guidlines.
  
  Food:
  Pick berries or other foods from nature.
  About once or twice a year we buy a whole animal from a hunter or farmer,we will then need help with slaughter (this will be working together). Sometimes we need help with fishing.
  
  Looking after a toddler:
  Our girl Ronja is a sosial little creature and we expect our guests to show interest in her. Some people are more confident around children than other, I get that, it's no expectations for u to be watching her but u might be asked if we se a genuine connection between you.
  
  As we are now both working so you will need to be able to take instructions from us and work while we are away for work on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The other days we are home.

  Acomodação

  From may-sept you will have your own belltent with a wood stove, a double bed with warm blankets, you will have a beautiful view over the valley and sleeping to the sound of the waterfall.
  It's possible to cook simple meals on the wood stove or warm up water.
  
  We have an outdoor toilet.
  
  Our house is close by and we really want our guest to feel like our house is theirs, so it wil mostly be open for u to use.
  
  We are all eating breakfast in different times here so breakfast you do yourself and lunsj, dinner will be shared.

  We are living more or less screen-free and we are asking our guests to be mindful about that around our daughter. The same goes for sugary foods and drinks, please enjoy that out of our daughters sight :)

  Hi, we will find a fitting spot for u to work, but you would need your own network.. we only have network on our phones and we can open hotspot while we are home.

  We live on a steep hill, so camper Vans have to be parked in the parking, we live on the end of a road so the only traffic there will be is our car and our friends that visits.
