  I'm a retired teacher for children with special needs, living in a former old farmhouse in common with my partner in a little village in the county of Toggenburg. In the summer the garden is beautiful an the life is easy. In winter it's more arduous, only the living room can be heated by the tiled stove. I like to give a shelter to travellers and I'm glad if you take over little jobs in and around the house, the help isn't hard. Very often my grandchildren are here. This way of travelling gives enrichment and developping by sharing the experiences. Myself I like the simple Interrail travelling with my partner.

  Our house is non smoking area. (Smoking is possible in the garden)
  
  Ich bin eine pensionierte Heilpädagogin und wohne in einem ehemaligen alten grossen Bauernhaus gemeinsam mit meinem Partner in einem kleinen Dorf im Toggenburg. Im Sommer ist der Garten schön und das Leben einfach. Im Winter ist es beschwerlicher, denn nur die Stube kann mit dem Kachelofen geheizt werden. Gerne gebe ich Reisenden ein Dach über dem Kopf und bin froh, wenn Sie mir Arbeiten im und rund ums Haus abnehmen. Die Arbeit ist überschaubar. Sehr oft sind meine Enkelkinder bei mir. Diese Art zu reisen gefällt mir und erlaubt eine gegenseitige Bereicherung wenn Reiseerlebnisse, Haltungen und Ansichten ausgetauscht werden. Ich selber schätze das einfache Interrail-Reisen, mit meinem Partner.

  Simple room, shared bathroom, common meals possible as well as to use the kitchen for own cooking. you may also use the living rooms. If you want you can participate at the family life.
  
  Einfaches Zimmer, Gemeinschaftsbad, Gelegenheit am Tisch mitzuessen. Die Küche kann um eigenes Essen zuzubereiten mitzubenützt werden, ebenso die Wohnräume. Wenn gewünscht auch Familienanschluss.

  Krinau is a farmer village in a little valley of the Toggenburg. Plenty of possibilities for hiking and also skiing in Winter. Bus to the main valley. Good public transport to Rapperswil, Zurich, St. Gall (monastery, UNESCO world heritage) and so on. The Mount Säntis is quite close.
  
  Krinau ist ein Bergbauerndorf in einem Seitental des Toggenburgs. Viele Wandermöglichkeiten, und im Winter Skifahren. Busverbindung ins Tal. Gute öV-Verbindungen z.B. nach Rapperswil, Einsiedeln, Zürich, St. Gallen (Kloster, UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe) etc. Auch der Säntis ist nicht weit.
