Aimee and Craig were wonderful. Hard working, accommodating, flexible and are a very pleasant couple. We enjoyed their company and wish they could have stayed longer.

We stayed with Rory for a week in June. We had a great time helping out with odd jobs which varied from day to day, including chopping wood, cleaning vans and the boat and gardening. Rory was great company he has some fantastic travel stories! We ended up chatting for ages at breaks and lunchtime. Accommodation was separate from the main house - a

Hannah and Emmanuel stayed for a week and were excellent company. They worked dilligently and thoroughly and were prepared to do whatever was asked of them.
They have a good sense of humour, very courteous and considerate and with a happy demeanour.
I would recommend them thoroughly.
Vicky and Matt were very special helpers. They were so easy to get along with and flexible. Not shy to do the hard yards and finished their jobs with aplomb and to a high standard.
I can only recommend them other hosts TO GRAB HOLD OF THEM.. AND NOT LET THEM GO!!

We spent 10 days volunteering for Rory in mid May and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. His place is in a lovely, peaceful area and we found our time there very relaxing. We helped with a variety of tasks including working with Rory to tidy up his garage, cleaning vehicles he uses for his transport business, chopping firewood, cleaning inside of Rory's
… read more cottage and weeding and tidying the garden. We worked for 4 hours per day, except Sundays, which allowed us time to explore the surrounding area and Rory gave us plenty of suggestions for places we might like to visit. He and his friend Marianne also took us for a walk up Mount Arthur which was absolutely lovely.
Our accommodation was a basic but well insulated and cosy sleepout with an incredibly comfortable bed. We made our own breakfasts in the outdoor kitchen area outside the sleepout and Rory made us lunch each day which we ate together at his cottage across the yard. In the evenings Rory went out to eat at Marianne's house and we cooked for ourselves in his cottage with ingredients of our choice supplied.
We really enjoyed getting to know you, Rory and Marianne, and spending time in your company. Thank you both so much for all your hospitality, we wish you the very best and we will be back to visit next time we are in New Zealand.Comentário
