Feito pelo anfitrião para o Workawayer (Shreevani)
Shreevani is a very joyous young lady, who always is in a good mood and has a big, pretty smile. Although i don t have any ,I could so imagine her helping with children as i am sure she would bring a lot of joy to them. Shreevani was here for one week and i cried when she left, as i felt i knew her for a long time. We got on very well and even
… read more though i am much, much older then her she was like a good old friend to me!
Shreevani was very good with all the tasks she s been asked to do and was always polite. She knows how to deal with animals and i could see that she s an accomplished horse rider as well! She also was very uncomplicated when it came to anything else. I can only say , who ever needs an easy going , no fuss helping hand, will be not disappointed with Shreevani.

This was such a cool experience as my first workaway! Sabine and I got along super well, and the animals were all so lovely (who knew chickens had such unique personalities?!). From horse riding to trimming goat hooves, my skills with animals really improved, and I'm grateful for the week away from the internet too!

I stayed with Sabine and Philip for a week in April last year and it was great! I could help Sabine feed horses, dogs, cats, goats, wallabies and possums. I helped Sabine with horse riding as well, and it was amazing. She has the sweetest soul.

This was my very first experience with WorkAway and staying/helping on a farm. And it was the second month that I lived in Australia.
It was hard for me to help on the farm. Because there were a lot of things what you have to think about. And especially I never really worked on a farm. But with the great help of Sabine and Philip I was able to
… read more help and could do a lot of things. Sure it was never easy :). But I appreciate the hard work and especially the animals. I hope that especially Poopie, Scout, Futzie and Rick are alright :). And I hope that Surrender got better :).
What I think is really nice too, are the wildlife animals.
I thought it was really exciting to see some dangerous animals like a snake, spider or a little scorpion(ok it's not that dangerous ^^). But I still prefer the wallabies and the echidna that you can see around the farm :).
Like Sabine already said. Normally there is not an opportunity to go to a city by your own or something. But if you're sick of the big city, That's! the best place where you can enjoy the country life.
At first I wanted to stay for three months. But Unfortunately It was too much time for me so I just stayed only 1 Month.
I think it's really good if you stay at least 2 weeks or 1 Month or more. Because then you got a lot of practice to take care about the animals.
I will never regret my decision to visit Sabine and Philip and I hope the others will have a nice experience too.
Thank you Sabine and Philip! :)
Best Regards
Leppi
