Greetings to all who've taken a moment to read this! My name's Usman, but you can just call me "OG" - easier, right? 😄

My love for immersive experiences began with Couchsurfing. Over the years, I've hosted and been hosted multiple times, and each interaction has been a delightful journey of cultural exchange, camaraderie, fresh perspectives, and... delicious FOOD! Workaway's wonderful philosophy, coupled with recommendations from friends, drew me to this platform. Professionally, I have a background in Software engineering and currently call Berlin home. However, my origins trace back to the vibrant landscapes of Morocco - a country far more diverse than just deserts and camels 😛 (I've only seen our desert twice, by the way!).

Having already tried my hand at farming, gardening, and various household tasks, I've come to appreciate the holistic experience that Workaway offers. I'm passionate about assisting in varied roles, be it gardening, animal care, or other responsibilities. After all, Workaway is all about aiding families and embracing transformative experiences that reshape our perspective on life.

Areas of Interest:

Creative Pursuits: I have an innate love for learning and dabbling in creative endeavours. Be it manual labor, household tasks, gardening, or farm assistance, I approach each task with zest, ready to lend a helping hand.

Sports & Outdoors: From Taekwondo to kickboxing, hiking to skiing (somewhere between a beginner and a pro), my thirst for physical activities is ever-evolving. Eager to try more outdoor sports, I pride myself on my balance and quick learning. And of course, I'm always willing to share the skills I've acquired.

Culinary Exploration: While I'm keen on understanding balanced nutrition, Moroccan cuisine always sweeps me off my feet (and diet plans). I firmly believe it ranks among the world's best, and if we meet, I'll gladly prove it 😁! Plus, I often travel with my teapot, ensuring I'm ready to brew some heartwarming Moroccan tea anytime 😁.

Language Learning: Currently, my eyes are set on mastering German. Workaway, with its immersive environment, seems like the perfect avenue for this. For language enthusiasts out there, I can also be a practice buddy for English, French, or Arabic.

Workaway is an opportunity to discover the world from the eyes of locals, experience different things, discover new culture, meet interesting people some of them will turn to friends, others to close friends.

I like social work, I was in a charity association when I was in Morocco.
I like horses, so I will love to do the work related to them and I will appreciate I learn how to ride them very good (I'm good with balance and a fast learner)
I want to try as many Outdoor activities as possible, so I'm open to all suggestions.
