  Description

  My name is Stefan and I live with my family in a small village in Styria, Austria. I grew up here on a small farm surrounded by animals, nature and a very practical way of life.
  
  Today I live next to a large workshop, which has become a creative space for product development, woodworking, metalworking, repairs and 3D printing. I am a product developer and run my own company. I really enjoy creating new ideas and practical solutions.
  
  Our home is surrounded by mountains, a large garden, vegetable areas, fruit trees and a swimming pond with fish. Our neighbours still keep many farm animals such as cows, sheep, goats, rabbits and chickens, so there is still a real countryside atmosphere around us.
  
  I am curious, brave, adventurous and quite direct. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and learning about different ways of life.
  
  I like deeper conversations about sustainable living, community life, philosophy, god and the world.
  
  In my free time I enjoy camping, motorcycles, boating, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, inline/ice- skating, concerts, music and spending time with family-the two wonderful moms of my two children, ages 2 and 7. We live in separate households and have a good relationship with each other. I also play cajon and some other percussion instruments.
  
  For me, Workaway is not only about getting help. I like the idea of sharing everyday life, learning from each other, exchanging ideas and having some good experiences together.

  I enjoy sharing my experience in product development, entrepreneurship, practical problem-solving and working with different materials and tools.
  
  I am also very interested in different cultures, and open to new perspectives, inspiration and meaningful conversations.
  
  I am interested in alternative ways of living, community life, eco-communities, self-sufficient living and ideas about how people can live together in a more sustainable and independent way.

  Typical tasks can include helping in the garden, DIY, taking care of vegetables and fruit trees, harvesting, lawn and pond maintenance, feeding the fish, cooking, normal household tasks and helping around the property.

  Hébergement

  You will have your own private guest room with a double bed, large wardrobe and a work desk.
  
  The bathroom, kitchen and living areas are shared with us. We have reliable WiFi and a quiet place to work, so the accommodation is also well suited for digital nomads.
  
  You are also welcome to use the garden, swimming pond and workshop during your free time.
  
  We also have bicycles available, and depending on your experience and after we get to know each other, there may be the possibility to use a motorcycle to explore the beautiful roads and nature around our area.
  
  If there is enough trust and you are confident and experienced enough, you may also be able to use the quad or my car from time to time, for example for shopping or occasionally helping to pick up the children from school. This would always be arranged together in advance.

  We live in a beautiful area with many possibilities for outdoor activities and free time.
  There is a lovely river nearby, as well as a thermal spa with large swimming pools and a sauna village.
  For sports, there are climbing gyms, gyms, a bouldering hall, tennis halls and several ski areas in the surrounding region. The Red Bull Ring is also only a few kilometres away and is especially interesting for anyone who loves motorsports and racing.
  
  The area is perfect for motorcycle trips, with many beautiful roads through the mountains and countryside. You can also go mountain biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, swimming and enjoy many other outdoor activities.
  Whether you prefer sports, nature, relaxation or adventure, there is plenty to discover in the region.
