Description
Hi I'm Stephane (or Fanou, it's my nickname) ! I'm a curious person, I love travelling because : learning, discovering, sharing, exchanging. At the moment I'm keen especially on manual work (I'm good at it as I already made three campervans), construction, general maintenance and gardening. That's why I really like the concept of Workaway. I did some in France (horse farm), in hostels (housekeeping in Taiwan and Wellington, New Zealand), Spain, Poland and Lithuania. I've also worked in different fruit picking (mango, mandarin, champagne grapes).
About me :
I studied and worked as a journalist in Paris until 25 then I caught the travel bug ❤😀 5 working holiday visas (Australia x2, New Zealand ,Taiwan, now Canada). I've also lived in Spainand Lithuania, working as a French teacher.
I've arrived in Canada a year ago. My visa is two years, so : first year was in the East, second will be in the West ! Very excited ! :D
I love that feeling of discovering new different things, understand the world, meeting people and getting to know some. Also of pushing myself outside of my comfort zone.

Stephane est resté à peu près 3 semaines avec nous et s'est de suis bien intégré à la famille! Il a su aider les enfants avec leur cours de français, aider Raoul aux multiples tâches (toutes variées et parfois en passant de la scie aux fourneaux!)
Une très belle expérience pour nous tous!
Nous recommandons Stephane sans hésitation!

Excellentissime séjour ! J'ai été super bien accueilli par Pauline et Raoul, les enfants aussi sont sympas, franchement j'ai comme fait partie de la famille, c'était agréable ! On mange ensemble, discute, parfois joue, fait de la randonnée, etc.

I had a great long weekend with Ruta and Gyris ! They welcomed me very well, we had nice conversations, walk around, and some small tasks to give a hand in their house and garden. I stayed one week only (for logistics/travels with friends reasons), it was too short, two or three would have been better.
Eddy and Gosia live in a very nice place, big house in nature (I even saw deers in the garden !). With their two very nice and cute daughters, very well raised, one of them even cooked for me once.

I had a good stay in July, two weeks. We did gardening, weeding, raking, digging, and on my last day making biochar.
We were well hosted in a nice wooden caban located in a garden/forest.
