  Description

  We are a vegetarian / raw food friendly family, professionnaly involved in organic living vegan foods. We need would be someone willing to become part of our familly during at least two weeks. We live just near Nîmes , in Langlade in South France, 35 minutes drive from the beach, 15 minutes drive from Nîmes. Our 1700 m2 garden has many fruit trees, and the house is nice. We have a swimming pool and a wooden wood heated jaccuzi in the garden.

  We are looking for a helper at least vegetarian with driving license and ability to drive and automatic car or manual car for childcare for our familly, we are working in the vegeterian / raw food scene. For short or longer stays. We hosted over 70 workawayers from all over the globe in 8 years.

  As we receive 3 times more requests than space we can offer, we sort out the persons whith who we may have the best experience.
  
  PLEASE READ THESE 15 LINES before sending us a message :
  
  Here is what we are not interested in, so please do not waste your time and our time applying uselessly if you fall in one of these categories :
  
  - WORKAWAYERS WITH NO DRIVING LICENSE
  - WORKAWAYERS WHO ARE NOT EXPERIENCED VEGETARIANS, because you may feel discomfortable with our mainly raw vegan meals. Persons on a normal diet just don't adapt easyly to our way of life and don't feel well here.
  
  Please note that due to past unpleasant experiences, we do not host workawayers falling into these categories :
  
  - workawayers with past or present psychiatric troubles
  - workawayers smoking or drinking alcohol at home
  - workawayers allergic to cats as we have three cats
  - workawayers who are not interested at all to learn at least some basics of french
  
  With that being said, you can read our reviews and the following presentation :

  We are looking for a vegetarian open minded helper in south France. We live in south France, 35 minutes from the beach, 15 minutes from Nîmes, by car or bus. Nearest train station is Vergèze, 12 minutes from here, or Nîmes, other side of the city, 15 minutes from here. Less than one hour from our house, you can reach Montpellier, Avignon, Arles, Uzès, Lyon, Aix-en-Provence famous cities. One hour and a half is Marseille.
  
  Eric and Aurélie run a 17 years old organic online organic living food buisiness importing goods and superfoods from over 15 countries around the world, including Japan, Thailand, Marocco, Mexico, USA, Taiwan...etc.
  
  Aurélie is a women coach, she runs the management part of the buisiness.
  
  We are a so called recomposed family only Zia 8 years old is at home, Léane is 18 years old, leaving home during the week and Cloé is 20 years, she lives in Nîmes now. Eric has also 3 older childs who do not live with us presentely but who can come on week ends. Zia was born at home in water. We both fully work from home.
  
  Regarding food : We are both vegetarian, orientated vegan and living food. There is no meat, no fish, no alcohol, no cow milk in our house. Sometimes we have some cheese and/or pizzas or eggs from our chickens when we succeed to find them in the garden.
  
  On the other hand we have and make a lot of alternative foods you will discover : we eat sprouts and seaweeds every day, make fresh milk from sprouted almonds or soaked chufas. We make dehydrated raw crakers, raw vegan shushis, sprouted sunflower patés, raw birthday cakes. We have edited ten years ago french first raw food book recepies : Cuisine vivante pour une santé optimale.
  
  We look for a vegetarian friendly non smoking person, with some experience in attending children / teenagers. The au pair can share with us the caretaking of Zia who is at home. The rest of the tasks may be discussed, including gardening and small house tasks like painting. We look for a person willing to share our family life, interested to learn from us, we are really open minded to other cultures and enjoy teach and share. Eric is from Dutch background, he travelled in 25 countries, Aurelie has an intense artistic background, she used to be model and had also her own clothes brand, and she has been travelling a lot also and spent her early years in Algeria. We like to enrich each other and this can be easyly done trying to understand each other.
  
  At home we use dry compost toilets. We have a wooden hot tub in the garden and a nice swimming pool too, we use year around, having cold baths in winter.
  
  If you come between june and september, you may experience some very hot temperatures, as Nîmes is the hottest city in France, and we have always one degree more than Nîmes. The house remains cool during the hootest hours anyway. In that period, there are also mosquitoes. It's a perdiod where we have plenty of fruits, as much fruits are grown in our area and exported to northern places.
  
  We are living in a super quiet area, the village has only houses with large garden. Our garden is full of fruit trees (1700m2). We have a water drill in the garden providing fresh natural water. Nimes can be reached very quickly by car or bus. Allow 15 to 20 minutes drive for the hyper centrum. At the end of the street begins the "garrigue", 200 meters from home, and there are endless walks to be done here directly from our house. The village is crossed by a "greenway" (old train path reconverted into a cycling path).
  
  We have high speed optical fiber internet at home, we cut wifi off by night to prevent being in a microwave while sleeping. In the house there is no mobile signal, but you can rely on what'app / Telegram. You can get some phone signal in some parts of the garden.

  Thanks to read the comments we received from precedent workawayers to see if what we propose fits your needs. All workawayers who "booked" their stay far in advance cancelled at one point or the other, so we do not take applications further than 6 weeks into advance, it's useless to ask in winter for summer and reversed !
