Description
Hello to you, future Workawayeur! We are a small and friendly team, in the process of transforming our eco-place located in a pretty village at the foot of the Midi-Pyrénées. We have 4 hectares of meadows, an orchard, an organic vegetable garden, and lots of adorable animals (horses, goats, miniature pigs, Ouessant sheep, dogs, cats, etc.). Here, it's nature as far as the eye can see, but with the city not far away if you want a change of scenery!
What we offer you:
A great living environment!: Stream, organic vegetable garden, and animals, with lots of quiet corners to relax after work.
Accommodation in a large house, cabins, caravans.
We even have a yurt where we organize yoga sessions, meditation, etc.
Varied activities: We need a helping hand for everything, from maintaining the organic vegetable garden to animal care, including eco-construction, permaculture, and energy autonomy projects. If you want to learn new things, this is the ideal place!
What we are looking for: No need to be an expert, just someone motivated and ready to get involved. Whether you already have skills in organic farming, construction or want to discover all of this, you are welcome! We are here to support you and teach you.

We like to get together around the fire in the evening for friendly moments: music, singing, discussions (with or without beer, it's up to you!).
We speak French, English and Czech. If you want to improve your French, we will be happy to help you, and we can also guide you in discovering the local culture.

Situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees, with 4 hectares of scenic terrain bordered by a large stream.
As well as having a variety of animals, organic vegetable garden and fruit tree orchard, we are currently developing the project in order to be a non-profit workshop/retreat centre.
We are progressively aiming to live as a small collective, (and are open to new members !!)
As well as shorter visits from people who share our interests (see below), we are looking to have 2-3 helpers who are open to the possibility of staying for longer, to help especially with building wooden cabins (some experience with DIY would help.)
Salut à toi, futur Workawayeur ! On est une petite équipe sympa, en train de transformer notre écolieu situé dans un joli village au pied des Midi-Pyrénées. On a 4 hectares de prairies, un verger, un potager bio, et plein d’animaux adorables (chevaux, chèvres, cochons nains, moutons d'Ouessant, chiens, chats, etc.). Ici, c’est la nature à perte de vue, mais avec la ville pas loin si tu veux changer un peu d’air !
Ce qu'on te propose :
Un super cadre de vie ! : Ruisseau, potager bio, et animaux, avec plein de coins tranquilles pour se détendre après le boulot.
Hébergement dans une grande maison, des cabanes, caravanes.
Nous avons même une yourte où on organise des séances de yoga, méditation, etc etc.
Des activités variées : On a besoin d’un coup de main pour tout, de l'entretien du potager bio aux soins des animaux, en passant par des projets d’éco-construction, de permaculture, et d’autonomie énergétique. Si tu as envie d’apprendre de nouvelles choses, c’est l’endroit idéal !
Ce qu'on recherche : Pas besoin d'être un expert, juste quelqu’un de motivé et prêt à s’impliquer. Que tu aies déjà des compétences en agriculture bio, en construction ou que tu veuilles découvrir tout ça, tu es le bienvenu ! On est là pour t’accompagner et t’apprendre.
Pourquoi venir chez nous ?
C’est l’occasion d’apprendre plein de trucs sur l’agriculture bio, l’autonomie et la vie en collectif.
Tu rejoindras une communauté alternative où il y a toujours des gens intéressants à rencontrer.
On aime bien se retrouver autour du feu le soir pour des moments conviviaux : musique, chant, discussions (avec ou sans bière, c’est toi qui choisis !).
On parle français, anglais et tchèque. Si tu veux t’améliorer en français, on sera ravis de t’aider, et on peut aussi te guider dans la découverte de la culture locale.
Si tu cherches une belle aventure au grand air, dans des moments de partage, viens nous rejoindre ! On t'accueillera comme il se doit !

We can help non-natural French speakers improve their language skills, and we offer an experience of the local culture here in Ariege. We form part of a vibrant local community, with regular music and dance events. We are interested in singing, music, dance, yoga, meditation, massage, well-being and nature. You are welcome to participate if you wish.
