  Description

  Hello from sunny Asturias, where the sun always shines more then the forecast tells you. We are Sanne (29) and Joachim (29) and have been living here for 4 years. We're both dutch and just bought an old farm that we started renovating november last year.
  
  Sanne is a photographer and Joachim is a pianist, together we have the dream to live in our own build farm where our creative senses stay stimulated. We are very social people, but we also like to live a simple life with enough tranquility and privacy. We didn't start this project to finish soon but we like to work hard and enjoy even harder every small result. To relax, we really like to eat healthy and jummy food and enjoy the tiny sauna in our garden, which can also be used by our guests now and then.
  
  This summer we've started renovating and had help with handy hands. This november we want to continue the jobs! We’ll start renovating the first house inside and if the weather is good, we’ll make a roof/veranda around the caravan to make it more comfortable, especially during rainy days. There will also be some garden tasks this winter like pruning and planting.
  
  You are most welcome to come and stay with us and share our life and dreams for a while. We would also love to hear about your dreams, ideas and experiences. We have a lot of experience with community living and will do our best to make you feel at home as well. Besides that we love animals so your furry friends will be welcome.

  Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre

  You'll get to experience the rural life of Asturias. You will learn about and contribute to gardening, traditional construction work, wood- and natural stone work, living partly together on an old farm etc.
  
  We're going to a private spanish teacher every week in Villaviciosa and you're welcome to join us! We'll also introduce you to our friends and neighbours to get a good sense of the life we're living.
  
  Be careful that you don't fall in love too much with Asturias!

  We are looking for 1 or 2 people who like to help us with some basic DIY tasks, building, garden work or daily chores this winter. People with enthusiasm and a positive mindset are more then welcome.

  Hébergement

  Right now we can offer you a private two person caravan with a small kitchen when needed, we'll share the bathroom, garden, bonfires, further facilities and good times. Mention that all is work in progress, everything is very basic at this moment. There's also an option to bring your own campervan since there is plenty of space.
  
  *Food*
  We'll be eating lots of vegtables, mostly vegetarian but sometimes fish and meat. Organic as much as possible, but that is mostly a budgetary question for now. Please let us know if you have dietary needs, we're flexible.
  
  We will cook a healthy and warm lunch together every workday, and we will make sure you'll have enough ingredients to make breakfast and dinner yourself.

  Autres infos...

  We've been exploring Asturias for a long time so we can share with you some hidden gems, good hikes, nice markets, events to experience in the weekends. We live very close to Boca Negra for example where you can have your night out with very fun concerts. Also infiesto has several cultural events to offer and a nice bakery that you definitely need to try.

  We have a plot of land in front of the house where our garden and fruit trees live. You can safely access it and we can provide you with electricity!
