Description
Hello there, I'm Tiziano and I'm 31 years old. My last Workaway experiences were in 2021 (Estavayer in Switzerland and Ometepe island in Nicaragua). I'm on WA again because it feels like a moment where I can enjoy some exploring and meeting new people. Let me know if you'd like to have a video call to get to know each other.
In recent years I've been very focused on my projects and lived regularly between Torino, Locarno, and Venezia, staying either at my family house or hosted by my step-sister and a friend. Growing up in Torino until 18, I became increasingly sensitive to food quality, air, and water, so now I stay there only for 3-4 days before needing to return to the hills.
In the old WA description I talked about the yoga I practiced between 18 and 22, how much I enjoyed being around spiritual people and so on. Let's be honest and up to date: I'm currently in a period where concentration on business means everything. Everything I do is at the computer. I still don't own a house in a place that truly fits me. I plan to buy land in Switzerland and I'm saving money.
My work has always been for private clients. I've been in fintech since 2015, and since May 2025 I've been vibe coding prototypes for online services, as a solopreneur. I actually became nerdy about agentic system architecture and orchestrating AI agents end to end. I use innovation when it serves a purpose, not as an ideology.
Workaway came to mind because I've been seeing mostly the same people over the last five years, so it's the right moment to change environment and join family lifestyle. I want to have a family soon and I'm actively working toward that goal. In my previous description I mentioned that I go to Auroville quite regularly, because I want to make it part of my family life long-term.
Let's talk about how I could help during a stay. I'm genuinely good at preparing food, and I'm quite demanding about quality. I buy only from local producers and organic shops, so if you mostly rely on supermarkets and we're not aligned on this, we may not be a good match long-term; if instead you're curious about eating better, hosting me is a chance to spend a few weeks with someone who can guide you from sourcing at local farms and organic shops to cooking, almost like a small detox coach inside your own kitchen. I'm also good with kids; interacting with them doesn't feel like a duty, especially when they're talkative and curious about many topics.
I enjoy walking in nature, running, and swimming. These days I've been coding with agents most afternoons, taking breaks every hour to swim at the Lido in Locarno.
I don't smoke, rarely get sick, and drink natural wine about ten times a year, on special occasions. I avoid chocolate to limit caffeine intake, and I don't drink coffee or tea.
I can help around the house by buying and preparing meals (something I already spend time on for myself, at least two hours a day) and by enjoying time with the kids. I'm less experienced with complex DIY or manual tasks, but reliable if you just need simple weight lifting. I have a driving license, though I don't drive regularly. If you need digital help, from building websites to basic video-making, I'd be glad to contribute. If you're building or thinking about a business, I'd also be curious to participate and learn through any related tasks.
Looking forward to a call and possibly meeting you as well. I'd like to come over for a short visit this summer to get to know each other in person, and if we both feel it's a good fit, I'd be happy to come back from September onwards for a longer stay, anything from two weeks up to one or more months depending on how it goes.
