    Description

Our hostel is located in the rainforest on a 60 hectare property with 16 kilometers of trails, all Situated right beside the famous Corcovado National Park. A perfect opportunity for outdoor nature lovers! Our specialty is the extensive, self-guided trails that meander through primary and secondary forest with ocean views and waterways that lead to multiple waterfalls,
All volunteers have unlimited access to the trails.

NATURIST HOSTEL: All areas of the property are clothing optional for guests and volunteers alike. You are invited to Join in, but no one will ever be pressured. Even if being naked is not for you, you must be comfortable if others are partially or completely unclothed. Very importantly, we will be operating in a safe and non sexual environment without exceptions! This is not a display for entertainment purposes.

WHAT WE PROVIDE FOR YOU: A bed, usually in the dorm area, sheets, towels, basic food (rice, beans, oil, salt, sugar and onions and garlic for the beans). Volunteers cook the rice and beans as a group, but we expect most will want to supplement with their own additional food items. There are excellent sandfly nets on all beds. It is advisable to bring bug spray, boots and flashlight.
The office in town is 30 minutes walk from the hostel itself. The office has a refrigerator/freezer, high-speed internet for your use. There is WiFi at the hostel, although it is much slower than at the office.

    Autres infos...

We're in a small village of 300 people, situated on the confluence of two rivers, The main economy of the village was based on gold mining which still exists to this day. Very slowly some of the local people are getting into tourism, but you'll have a great chance to mingle with the local culture in a place that is still very traditionally Costa Rican in many ways.
Besides the trails on our property, there is a great chance to hike in the local area.
