Hey! My name is Emilie, I am 23 years old and from Germany. I am currently fulfilling a dream and traveling through Central America for three months.

I really enjoy connecting with people, sharing meals, conversations and laughs. I’m always happy to join social and exciting activities or explore new places together. I love spending time in nature to go hiking and running. At the same time I appreciate quiet moments, mindfulness and slowing down.

Through this journey, I hope to grow personally, learn new things while volunteering and create great memories with inspiring people along the way.

I’m very interested in improving my Spanish. I learned it for a few years in school and still remember a little bit of the basics and grammar, but I’m definitely at a beginner level now. I really like the language and would love to work on my Spanish skills again while being abroad

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a reliable, open-minded, and empathetic person with lots of curiosity and a strong sense of responsibility. I'm physically active, enjoy being outdoors and don´t mind physical work. I adapt quickly to new environments, enjoy connecting with people from different cultures and contribute to a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

I have long-term experience with animals and a strong interest in animal welfare. I grew up with dogs and cats, helped at an animal shelter several times, and have been working in a pet supply store for over a year, where I gained more knowledge about animal care. I'm especially interested in farm and wildlife projects and would love to learn more about working responsibly with those animals.

Through my studies in Educational science and practical experience, I also have a solid experience working with People, especially children and teenagers. I completed several internships in the social sector and also spent a year volunteering in after school care for primary school children. I´m used to taking responsibility, supporting young people in their daily routines and working as part of a team to create a supportive and meaningful environment.
